With Rocca probably out for a few weeks its time for Cam to show us he's the man.

Here's my selections for next week

In: Presti, Buckley.
Out: Rocca, Johnson.

With Fraser and C-Cloke as handy CHF replacements I don't want to see Walker picked this week. Similarly nobody to drop for O'Bree or Holland (is Hollands suspension finished?) so they can stay at Willy until they earn a senior spot.

Cam Cloke showed what he is able to do last night. Played as a forward and kicked a couple goals.

In: Holland, Buckley, Prestigiacomo
Out: Rocca, Johnson, Swan

In about 4 games, Cam has already kicked more goals than Jason has in 3 years :D

I like Cameron. He took 2 magnificant one-handed grabs. One in the forward 50 that resulted in a goal.

He is a great long-term forward option.

Enjoyed both Cloke boys' games last night. Cam might be up for that Rising Star nomination Mick reckons he deserves, depending on the rest of the round and whatever wacky criteria those judges use.

He sure is up for selection, and Dane Swan has lost selection. Won't be suprised to see Swanny in the Magoos in a couple more weeks.

If they play Swan on the Damn ground maybe he'd get some possessions! ****ing Hell Malthouse! He has been gret earlier because u gave him time on the ground.

Maxwell Should be Dropped i reckon.. Let him earn his spot again. He hasn't done anything wrong or anything out of the ordinary..

Im quite happy with C Clokes performance... however in order for me to be entirely satisfied... i would like his performances to be consistant... we will see how the year unfolds for him

Nick Maxwell does not look like an AFL footballer, I don't think he can play but he can mark the god damn football. He has too be dropped, (not for his form) but because he is the only one out there who shouldn't be.
Chance for the axe in the next few weeks: Leon Davis (hope not) Matthew Lokan (tagging role is the only thing keeping him in, got killed) Rhyce Shaw (really shouldn't, but might be unfortunate) Dane Swan (TOG and he will be right, No TOG and Malthouse will have ruined his year) Nick Maxwell (shouldn't be there).

Only Maxwell and Swan are under the chopping block, both for developmental reasons than form. Swan could use a bit more game time I agree.

Lokan is a certain selection and R Shaw's outstanding performance against Judd was a revelation. Davis is doiing his job.

Williamstown are performing terribly - nobody in that side deserves promotion (except Presti).

Johnno wont miss, 10 days is plenty for a corkie.

Hope you're right but I doubt its only a corkie. More likely a thigh strain. Rest him against Melbourne and he's got 3 weeks to recover.

Lokan had a great game on Brent Harvey and then had a **** start on Judd, time to go i am afraid.

How does a SANFL Reserves full-forward be picked up at around 70 in the draft by a runners-up side and play 36 consecutive games since AFL Debut?

Wouldn't be surprised if Buckley, Rocca and Johnson all don't play this weekend. Collingwood seem to prefer to err on the side of caution, and there is no sense in risking them for longer term injuries. I wouldn't mind seeing Lokan dropped, I haven't been impressed with him all season so I think it's time for him to go and have a run in the two's.

I think Presti is a certain starter, has played the last two or three weeks in the reserves so should be match fit and the ankle's obviously right. Holland will certainly be picked I think, he's been our best tagger this year from what I've seen and he's suspensions up I think. I wouldn't mind seeing Shackleton in and get his debut. I've been hearing a lot of good things about him, so wouldn't mind seeing him get a run at senior level.

Anyway JMO.

I don't think Lokan will be dropped, I think they have a tagging job in mind for him against perhaps Yze on the half back flank or some Melbourne player who often slips under the proverbial radar so my changed are:
Buckley to miss one more week.
IN: Presti, Mullins
OUT: Rocca, Swan

Swan hasn't had a right matchup for a while and needs to get back into the swing of things by having a few solid games for Willy.

MM is making the sort of noises that tell me Walker will play very soon.

As seems almost consensus for a change, bring in Presti and Buckley if he's fit for Rooca and Johnson if they are unfit. Think about Mullins for Swan to give Swan a full game and maybe someone for Lokan. I think Walker will play for Maxwell as well based on MM's ramblings. Six of one, half a donzen of the other. Won't make much difference.

As for Cam. Give him the job at CHF FFS. Don't put Jason there Mick. Let Cam play the full game at CHF and watch him work himself into a game of football.

yep, Walker has to play in the forward line when he plays in the AFL. His game against Sydney at Telstra Stadium last year was magnificant because he played in that position and also spent some time in the ruck.

My latest update:

In Buckley Walker Holland Presti
Our Rocca Tarrant Maxwell Swan

I'm assuming Johnson will be fit. If not Swan will stay. Previously I called Holland to play in the twos but with two experienced forwards missing, he will come straight in.

In - Buckley, Prestigiacomo, Holland, Shackleton

Out - Rocca (hope not), Tarrant (tribunal is ****ed), and 2 others who could be chosen out of a handful.

BUT - if Rocca is out, do not put Walker in the forward line! He is a back, simple as that.
