I feel bad for skinny guys. Yeah there'd be some women out there that find them attractive- but I aint one of them.

As for putting on weight- just wait until you hit 30. All downhill from there.

Doesn't matter if you're tall enough.

If you're short and skinny..goodnight sweet prince.

Meh, little sympathy from me. There's a small minority who have genuine hormonal imbalances that mean they're going to carry weight. Sure, that sucks. However the vast majority lead very unhealthy lifestyles and then just make excuses. You can shove your excuses.

I'm with SG, want to stop being fat then stop being lazy it's not hard to figure out. I work harder than 90% of people I know yet still have time to go to the gym at 4:30 in the morning, start work at 6-6:30 then finish after 6:30 and go grab some shopping to cook that night.

Don't have time? Give me a spell and stop whinging*

*for what it's worth couldn't give a shit if you're fat as long as you aren't one of them people who constantly says they wish they weren't
How much sleep do you get a night? I don't think most people would be able to wake up at 4am every day and be mentally/physically active for the next 14 hours, and sustain that over a significant period of time.

I definitely couldn't do it

Boom, excuse! ;)

Like everything in life, our bodies adjust. It takes mere weeks to get into a routine. That said, I'd argue that the majority are overweight through having a shitty diet than lack of exercise. There's a pretty common saying that when trying to lose weight it's (insert random percentage here - 90%) diet and 10% exercise. People think they can keep eating their junk if they walk on the treadmill for half an hour. Ridiculous.

I dont. Past about 15, it becomes your responsibility and not your parents. How hard is it to eat well and go to the gym a couple of times a week
Nigh on impossible. But then, before I got bald and fat I was as ugly as the ugliest thing that ever uglied its way down the ugly tree. Sooz would have knocked me back. So, its not like I ever had any incentive.
Also,

Who thinks that?
You'd be surprised. I also see a lot of people who come to the gym, do nothing but some token cardio and look the same 12 months later. But hey, at least they 'find 30'.

Yeah I'm tall and skinny too. Haven't put on any weight in the last 5 years at all and even ate whatever crap I wanted for about 3 of those years. Now I eat a lot more healthy and I can feel the difference in my body even if I didn't need to lose weight.

Actually its really not that hard to lose weight...you can eat what you want as long as you expend more energy than what you take in. That's why dieting helps with exercise, because you reduce your energy intake. Dieting alone doesn't do anything because you're still taking in more energy than what you're expending. Also 20-30 mins of running each day alongside other activity (all up adults need at a minimum 150 mins per week of physical activity) will eventually change your body in such a way that when you run or ride or whatever, you use predominantly fats for energy production, which will obviously deplete fat stores and therefore reduce mass. Its all about physical activity amounts though.

I'm tall with a skinny build.

I have the build of someone who goes to tramp jungle every Sunday.

I do ok with girls. But I'll never win shells heart

/sorry

Hey in some ways it's a positive. My friend's serious bf is a skinny guy. I am 0% attracted to him, there is no chance of me going after him at all.

Not that I would anyway...

Edit: Actually, no was attracted to a guy who was skinny. So guess there are exceptions to every rule. I worked with him on a camp. I wore his cap for the whole camp. Had great chemistry. Chatted on msn after camp. Asked him out on msn. Got knocked back.

Not a lot but it's a routine I'm now used to. Go to bed about 10:30 then 3 days a week gym and the other days I wake up at 5. Biggest killer is that I work 7 days a week most times so never get a chance to rest but the body gets used to it

I was always a bit tubby when younger, then got over 30 and blew out massively. Have peeled off about 16 kegs or so in the last 6 months, still got a few to go. I'm not sure what has worked since I've started exercising, eating better and drinking less piss but it's all working at the moment. Not worth complaining about, I knew why I blew out, just didn't get motivated to do something about it until it got a bit out of control.

My cuz was the same the "tubby" one, then past about 17/18 he got in better shape.

I've been about the same weight my whole adult life- 20s roughly 55/56kgs, 30s now at 60/61 kgs, which I'm happy with.

7 days a week? jesus christ
or are you doing fifo?

Second year into bricklaying but have picked it up pretty quickly so laying bricks and that everyday just doing laboring at the same time. Normally work 2-3 weeks straight then we will have a Sunday off or maybe weekend. Good money to be made over here so might as well get the coin while young
