My cuz was the same the "tubby" one, then past about 17/18 he got in better shape.

I've been about the same weight my whole adult life- 20s roughly 55/56kgs, 30s now at 60/61 kgs, which I'm happy with.

Second year into bricklaying but have picked it up pretty quickly so laying bricks and that everyday just doing laboring at the same time. Normally work 2-3 weeks straight then we will have a Sunday off or maybe weekend. Good money to be made over here so might as well get the coin while young

I'm amazed you feel the need to go to the gym after doing 6 days of labouring/bricklaying.
Unfortunately for me, working more than 5 days a week means a whole lot more sitting on my arse so that would be a terrible outcome for my health/fitness.

Probably because they do bugger all actual construction on The Block, it's all about the drama and bitchiness between couples, well that's what it seem like from the ads as I don't watch it.

Nothing is really structural and work that is structural/undertaken outside is usually done off camera with professionals wearing appropriate PPE. Would never buy one of the block properties in a million years, shonky af.

Think there's much easier ways to keep the weight down, surely someone working a 40 hour week would be able to devote a couple hours a day to exercise and meal planning

Yeah I know I dont get it they spend the entire season making mistakes, showing what corners they cut, etc, lol. And then 2 million+ pls.

Also another thing- they go on and on about having no sleep, up 24 hours, etc. Would think that is def against OH&S as well. Anyway, I like seeing the actual reno stuff and the stuff the foreman Keith says. If this show was on Foxtel it would be produced completely differently, would be so much better.
