Surprisingly yes. (Not with me thou). And it can take variation. I'm just honest/don't suffer fools, strong and confident, assertive etc (while normally these are all good traits to have it's like the cool factor. If someone is they don't need to say it. Saying it points to other issues).

I guess some men are no different then some women. Just love drama.

As above, most (white, obvs) women like the same things. Beach, food, travel, music, yoga, fitness, coffee etc. Tells you zero. Even better when they have 4 pictures with the same 4 girls in each one. It's not Guess Who.

Most people (guys and girls) aren't actually that interesting so flesh out their interests/hobbies with generic shit. A (girl) friend of mine does yoga at least once every week and if you had to describe her being 'into yoga' would be about 15th on the list. If you go to the odd yoga class when you can be bothered then surely you have other hobbies filling in your time.

IMO guys do what they think girls will like. Shirtless selfies, dick pics - these are just dumb guy ideas. On the flip side girls do what they like. I look good in this photo where you can't tell who is who, I want to convince myself I'm into fitness when really I drink prosecco and eat 2am Maccas ec.

Surprisingly well! Chose a very dimly lit venue, chatted and hit it off really well, looked at the watch and realised we'd been there for four hours. Which is far longer than these things would normally take.

Sadly we both took a train home, and the train and station were extremely well lit, so I didn't think that through. Still, seem to be organising a second one so yay.

Clearly I should freak out before these things more often.

Matched with a girl last night, we chatted very briefly and then I fell asleep. Woke up to several messages from her this morning, got a bit creeped out at her unbridled enthusiasm and unmatched her.

Several hours later she's now tracked me down on Facebook and sent me a message "Just so you know, ghosting is extremely rude." That confirms my suspicions.
