I’ve had some alright success on Tinder but I think I might be done with it for now.

Matched with some girl around a month back, she was 19 and seemed pretty normal and innocent and had just broken up with her boyfriend. Good timing for something casual I thought.

It took some convincing but I managed to convince her to pick me up from the city (free lift home) and to come back to stay at my house. That part went okay, she left an item of clothing behind and I thought it may have been on purpose but initially gave her the benefit of the doubt.

She downright refused to pick the item of clothing up despite me saying I would leave it outside for her to get. Kept saying ‘I’ll grab it next time I see you’. I was playing footy last week and she bloody turned up to my game unannounced...I got a massive fright. Gave her some small talk before getting the hell out of there afterwards. Called her out on it, told her to basically piss off and I dropped the clothing at her house.

She knows my address which is scary stuff.
Hopefully you padded up

Always.

And it's my greatest fear the they turn up and start watching you play sport after only meeting a few times, I usually don't tell them i play sport.

I'm with Damon_3388. If you have kids you can post a photo and say something like 'I have 2 kids' or whatever, but if you don't have kids why not just find photos without kids in them to avoid the confusion? A lot of guys/girls just aren't interested in girls/guys who already have kids.

Honestly (and I might be unfairly generalising), anyone under 30 who is a single parent, I assume is drama that's best avoided.

90% off chicks I’ve spoken to or met online dating are either nurses or in child care.
About 4 months ago i matched with a girl that claimed to be a nurse! After a few dates & increasingly starting to spend a lot of time with each other she confessed to being a doctor

If a girl ever states she is a child care worker, she usualy over emotional & a hand full

She was ashamed of actually being a doctor, so decided to pretend to be a less prestigious health care professional? Doesn't make sense.

Actually it does. Men still have this emasculation issue when it comes to wage parity

Lol, some blokes actually think this way, and women play along with it? That thought never even crossed my mind TBH.

I would actually be kind of proud if a woman I was dating had a "better" job than me, happy for them that they've achieved something which likely took a lot of time and effort.

The doubt I would have around dating a doctor (or nurse) would be a bit more practical, around their availability (both physically and emotionally). Given that they work long, shifting hours in a stressful job, most probably don't have the time or patience for regular dating. But if they do, it's probably on a limited schedule that will make you feel like a patient booking an appointment to spend time with them, and you'd feel like every date and interaction needs to be a home run, so as you're not wasting their time or missing out yourself. Spontaneity probably goes out the window too. That is projecting and making assumptions though, so I would go in with an open mind, and see what happens.

Ready access to drugs surely cancels out any negatives though.
