And I'm sure it was really her...

Saw a swimmer in Radz for the nationals the other day on tinder. Can't remember her name, but one of her profile pics was her with an Australian cap on, quick google showed she was actually an Olympian (a medallist too, I think).

Also a channel ten reporter popped up on bumble a couple of weeks ago.

I'm fairly sure having something in your bio that they can talk to you about helps. So just add as many things you can think of as possible that chicks might like, even if you don't like them. Like MAFs and shit.

A guy I knew from overseas used to say he was a feminist and it seemed to do wonders

This was a solid recommendation, probably the best dating app I've used so far.

The fact that you send a like or a comment on a particular photo / written aspect of a profile before even matching works well for starting a conversation.

But the best thing about it is you can see who likes you before you match, basically tinder gold but for free. Imagine on tinder you get a notification everytime someone likes you, you can see who it is and it comes with a conversation starter already.

And I dunno if it's just luck of the draw or my area but I've had more attractive matches / people on the app generally.

No I don't work for Hinge haha. Had a date last night, unfortunately the app didn't fix my woeful closing power.

Bit late to the party, but I have successfully completed this as well. Dated a girl for a month or so and met her rather cute friend/housemate at drinks one night. Things fizzled out with girl 1 so I went back for a tinder sesh and nek minnit matched the cute friend. Went on a date with her and we got the job done. After a few more catch ups we went our seperate ways. It was not long after this that I matched my now fiancé on tinder, we hit it off from the first date so fair to say I've hung the boots up and couldn't be happier.
