Alright, so what's the etiquette with matching someone you kind of know?
Had a few where we've had two to a dozen mutuals but they're no one I know and you can tell the mutuals are probably from nights out/uni/they're generally not in contact. However, I've just gotten one with 35 – and about 12 years ago, we lived next door to each other. Quite clearly know one another and I have some good mates who are friends with her. But we've never chatted. I've found her really cute for years now, just my type'o lass, lives in the next suburb across... seems right on.
But I haven't had to deal with this for years. I'm used to anonymity and being free. I feel like anything I say will be relayed back to people or something.
Has anyone ever actually got anything out of these situations? How do you start the chat? Do you ever acknowledge you know one another, or just act like you regularly would? I feel like the 2 things I know about girls are now redundant.
