I assume so. Just means if she finds you attractive enough you can pretty much say anything. A common misconception is that women are more attracted to personality than men are but in reality they are just as if not more shallow........ although they don't actually know this themselves.Haha, are these definitely real?
Women are equally shallow as men. I.e. some aren't, but many are. To be brutally honest I think most of the human race are fairly shallow creatures. Tinder is pretty much one of the great social experiments in that regard.
To many people of both sexes looks, money, social status, fame are equally as important as personality and compatibility.

Yep. A lot of people get defensive when you suggest this, but it's reality so denying it is pointless.
I've always wanted to do a social experiment by creating an online dating profile as a pseudo control group. Find pictures of a good looking bloke, token rig shot etc. and put together a pretty boring, badly written profile. Hobbies: 'goin 2 gym' and shit like that.
Step 1, create the above profile for Douchey McDoughington.
Step 2, find say 10 girls who have actually gone to an effort with their profile.
Step 3 (the time consuming bit), create a profile of a guy for each girl based on what they say they want. Common interests, hobbies, experiences etc. Include a photo of an average looking bloke or maybe no photo to start with.
Step 4, contact each girl from their 'matched' profile and Douchey McDouchington.
Step 5, observe results.
One day I'll get there. Maybe.

Men just look for attractiveness first. It's the way it is. Women might too, but I think there is more leeway for a man to land a chick if she isn't initially drawn to him by proving himself in other areas.
That doesn't necessarily mean women are always less shallow - money and power hold a lot more sway for women than they do for men.
It's true from my experience, but I definitely don't profess to any great wisdom in the area.Is this actually true, or simply a reflection of societal norms for the gender which makes the first approach?
Not if you're butt ugly you wontIf you're a guy and you have a ripper personality - confident, funny, charismatic etc - you can pick up anyone.
If you're average looking you can.Not if you're butt ugly you wont
Disagree. Guy I used to play soccer with is absolutely heinous. His nickname is actually Shrek but he pulls absolute stunners and we have absolutely no idea how he does it. He's not even charming, he's a massive bogan. Not if you're butt ugly you wont
Are the girls bogans? And have you had a girl actually rate him or is it just a bunch of guys saying he is ugly?Disagree. Guy I used to play soccer with is absolutely heinous. Seen him snag absolute classy ladies on nights out. Everybody has rated him that hence his nickname is Shrek. Are the girls bogans? And have you had a girl actually rate him or is it just a bunch of guys saying he is ugly?
I'm 20 years too old, and way too ugly, for it - plus I don't have Facebook. Its sort of interesting to see what the generation of grads I sometimes work with have in their life. "Swipe, meet, bonk" seems a damned sight easier than "rely on random meeting, call (maybe a few times in pre-mobile days before actually speaking again - and it could be father/brother/housemate that answers), meet, etc".I've been a taken man for just under five years. I missed this whole Tinder thing while single, therefore.
I'd be utterly lost with it- I have no idea how it works beyond the basic principle.
There is a pay option in Aus that allows you to undo your last swipe or change you location to a different city. Kinda inevitable that they'd start asking for money though. Not sure if this news has hit Australia yet, but I'm overseas and just been told by the app that "You're out of Likes" for 24 hours. The only way around this is to pay a $15USD a month subsription fee.
You can read more about it here.

RIP Tinder.
I had that for about a week, which didn't bother me too much (they are actually decent add ons). But limiting the amount of likes to the free user is going to kill the app off VERY quickly. Greed has won out here, the whole point of Tinder was that it was free, easy and every (single) person was on it. Paying for it will change all of that. I suspect we won't be talking about it this time next year. There is a pay option in Aus that allows you to undo your last swipe or change you location to a different city. I actually met my current girlfriend over tinder...
Not saying this app is the greatest or even that it's used primarily for people wanting to date, but I do think it helps guys like me who find it difficult to approach strangers in pubs and try to 'pull'
How do you know if a girl is looking for sex by a couple of photos...?
Sure if they write 'I want ****. Give meeeee coocccckkk!' then it's pretty obvious, but I imagine not many girls do that.
