By turning it into a $17 a month app you're essentially turning it into a dating site, and as far as dating sites go it's about as basic as it gets. Those who pay for dating sites are going to rather pay a little bit extra and go on ones like eharmony and plenty of fish

For those wondering about the "like limit", I'm not entirely sure how it works. The Green Heart almost serves like a battery and you can see it running low when you've swiped right a bit. But as for a number, I would say around 20-30. Once you're out, that's it for 24 hours (it doesn't reset at midnight).

I used to be a "look at first picture only, then swipe right" kind of Tinder user. I used to get quite a lot of matches and shagged a few out of it. The same as most of the 'average' guys on there. But since the paid feature came I barely use it, and have had bugger all matches in the 2 weeks I've been limited. I'm more picky, the girls are more picky. It's gone shit.

13-17 can have tinder but can only match with other 13-17 year olds.

I get a lot of chicks popping up who have there age as 18 but are really 16/17. Not sure how there age is different. I guess because it links to the Facebook which would say they are older.

****ing campaigners. 24 hours passed, assuming that likes were restored but still limited, I sifted through carefully. I swiped right once, it didn't get through. Ran out of likes immediately. Another 24 hour wait. Tinder is shithouse.

Rant over. At least I have a reasonable number of matches to chat with.

They are gonna hit a downward spiral.

- There will be a % of people who abandon the app
- People will like they're profile which in turn is a wasted like, and you now only have 30 or 40 in a day
- As less people return your likes, then those people will abandon the app
- Those staying on the app are less and less likely to have their likes matched

You can always go into a profile and see if it's dormant or not, but that is a tedious process in relation to just swiping left or right.

I'm sure they've thought of this. They'll probably put something in their code so they only show profiles which have been active in the last 3 or 4 days.

They want me to pay $22 a month for the new tinder, someone posted a moment and it showed them being asked for $18.22 a month. It seems to vary for person to person for some reason. I'd rather deal with the spambots than pay $22 just to like people . It gave me 20 likes and then said I had to wait 24 hours.

So long tinder, you were good to me for a month of action.

But it's not like we were using Tinder exclusively to pick up, well I certainly wasn't anyway. It was a very useful thing to use during mundane working weeks and in between getting drunk and hitting the town on weekends - or any other 'traditional' way of picking up girls.

even if you have a jailbroken device and get it for free its not worth it. girls wont being paying for it
