I've given this app a run. Mildly entertaining for a few days but what a bunch of superficial shit.

Would be awesome if people actually used it for its intended purpose rather than just collecting contacts and seeking validation.

Always entertaining seeing someone you know, though. 'Not interested in casual relationship/booty call/friend with benefits/**** buddy etc. if that's what you want swipe left'. Ha. I've got one date set up with another girl so it can definitely work okay, but was just surprised at this other girl.

Good luck with your date but even if it goes really well and you talk about meeting up again etc. don't be surprised to find yourself deleted a day or two later.

Absolutely I'm sure they do, but I'm yet to reach the point of desperation of widening my net to include them.

Gender roles and stereotypes still exist, though. I've never seen a 'I'm not here to be your **** buddy...' bio from a guy, and I know plenty of girls who expect guys to initiate conversation, expect them to know what opening line will get a response etc.

As a guy if a girl I matched said 'hi' I would start talking to her. If I said 'hi' to 100 girls maybe 5 would respond.
