1. She swipes right to everyone and sees who matches to her, which means she is flooded and doesn't respond to everyone.
2. She is attractive or has comments that tell everyone she is only interested in casual sex so has heaps of matches and can't respond to everyone.
3. She only goes on a couple of times a week, generally on or near weekends, so can leave people hanging a few days
4. She matched you and then looked more closely at your profile and thought emergency back up plan.
5. What you wrote made her turn off and just ignore you.

All a possibility.
I'm no oil painting, but wouldn't say im ugly either.
Most of them I've matched with, I sent a message to, and they don't reply. Yet it shows they have been online recently.
Oh well.... I'll keep trying

This issue has no doubt been raised before on this thread, but I am really getting annoyed at getting matches that don't respond.
At the moment I am struggling to get any meaningful conversations going.
Why bother matching and not talking? Doesn't make sense to me

chicks get dozens and dozens of hits, so if you dont stand out or grab their attention from the get go you fighting a loosing battle.. try and make a personal comment, as well as a "Hi, how are you...", based on their profile etc shows that your genuinely interested.

Yep. Happens with all internet dating/hook up sites. You have a very small window of getting anywhere unless she's quite interested in you and makes the effort to talk.

Yep, wait ages to finally get a match and it's either a fake spambot or she just won't even bother responding.

Last decent conversation I had on Tinder was in mid-April. Me and her got talking and had a few things in common, and late that night she said goodnight to me and that she'd talk to me again tomorrow, but she didn't. I sent her another message a few days later for no response. I noticed she wasn't very active on Tinder anymore so I sent her another message saying if she wanted to become Facebook friends just to be able to talk easier, and never got a response either.

Just don't get your hopes up on Tinder

Sounds like my Tinder experiences
Had luck early, but now it seems to have dried up.
I got my hopes up with the run i had a month or so ago. But looks like my luck run out

A girl giving advice to a guy by saying "Be different" is not enough explanation for us. With nothing to compare it to, what is different ?? Trying to be "different" can then easily transfer into bizarre, and that aint gonna work !!

If you can pick something out of her bio to comment on then do it. The same line isn't going to work for every girl...you might have to actually put a bit of effort in. Otherwise her messages will look like this
