As much as I would love a partner who is as obsessed with the AFL as I am, I can't see any man wanting to court me after reverting to my true self - embodied in the boganesque commentary and complementary victory jigs after each Geelong goalYeah me frothing at the mouth and yelling "**** you white maggot campaigners EAD" probably wouldnt go down well as a first impression.

You've been to the meetups; I'm guessing the Geelong brethren are slim pickings? On the topic re. AFL/teams- I honestly couldn't care less which team the guy went for. But i honestly dunno if I could love a man who had an open hatred for AFL. Maybe a neutral- but get ****ed someone who hated it.

I had dinner with a friend last night (we take it in turns to pay before anyone asks) and she's been going on a fair few dates lately. My ex's family are the type that insist on paying whenever we went out.
They would get offended if you would try to pay, they would be genuinely upset.
When i was still in the single dating scene, i would generally pay on the first date, and most dates for that matter.
It did seem that a lot of girls want to be seen as independent women, but still don't want to pay...ever.
My current gf isn't like that thankfully, we take turns in paying.

Was the bet that Dustin Hoffman was in Star Wars? There was one fella who she had a bet with (don't know the details) before their first date and whoever lost had to pay for drinks

Shocked to be sitting here.
What about someone who had no interest/knowledge of footy. It's more acceptable for a girl but if a guy from Melbourne was all 'Oh the GF is on. who's playing?' that'd just be weird.
I've always fancied finding a girl who supported a rival team (since north don't really have one I'd settle for my soccer team's rival) just for the banter. Would be fun
I know it's a very small fraction of a relationship but not being able to tease the other person about their team really does sound shit to me.Yup this.
My ex was Geelong is was ****en boring imho. Me: "Geelong is the best". Him: "Yes we are"*
*we didnt really talk like that.
I support Carlton because of a girl I liked back when I was 4 supported Carlton.I've always fancied finding a girl who supported a rival team (since north don't really have one I'd settle for my soccer team's rival) just for the banter. Would be fun
Trolled you beautifully.I support Carlton because of a girl I liked back when I was 4 supported Carlton.
I can still picture me asking her what team she supported. One of my earlier childhood memories.
