The trick is always to let the pictures do the talking for you, don't ram home the point. The version of you she has built in her mind is better than you could tell her about anyway.

Then if you're not a total dick in chat you're on the easy lane.

100% accurate, but at the same time there's no doubt writing those cliched things aren't going to deter guys at all.

I like food, dogs and travelling (within 20k's of the Melbourne CBD) so at least I know she's normal. At least they aren't writing some OTT sexual innuendo (swear it's always 19-20 yo) and then being the complete opposite in real life. It's easy matches, but it's totality disingenuous.

Bit of self-deprecating humour in their profile never goes astray either. Nobody wants to be using Tinder to pull, but may as well have a bit of a laugh at yourself while doing it.
