I had a women really into me a couple of years ago that was a pogonophile (beard lover)

Haha. Yeah, I doubt any of them will go a for a 'dad bod' smart 6 over a dumb as shit hunk 9. Though, it's more likely like the term 'dad bod' anyway. That's got (IMO) little to do with actually liking dad bod's and more to do with the mentality of 'Ok, I've said I don't mind if you're just a little bit off a 6 pack, so please please please accept me at 75 pounds overweight'. They want their ego stroked.

Chatted with a girl on Bumble quite a bit Saturday night (when I matched with her), Sunday and Monday (she was off work Monday). Organised a date for next Monday as she was busy all this week. Is a teacher. Haven’t heard from her since Monday though, is that weird? She never responded to my last message, I can’t imagine she hasn’t had time to check it in 3 days. Definitely seemed very keen for the date though. I was stood up recently as a girl forgot to text she couldn’t make it last minute, so I’m a bit more wary now!

It's likely she found a better suitor. These apps might have made it easier to date but it has also made people more disposable.

Yeah thought about that, but she was very engaged in convo with me while she wasn’t working, and I understand teachers are busy. We have organised a specific time and place too for the start of next week.

Are you messaging her through the app or did you get her number?

I've had dates where everything went well, second date was organised right as the first ended. We text days after and then of a sudden she stops messaging. It's just part of the parcel of online dating.

Ive had it happen numerous times and ive done it plenty too

All looks fine and then no contact.

Never heard from again..
Or
A few days or a week later some BS excuse about a lost or broken phone or the messaging app was hacked...lol
Or
Go forward 6 months or a year and a message out of the blue from them. "How are you?"

Bottom line is 99% of the time if someone wants to contact you they can and will. No need to make excuses for someone being so busy they can't spend 60 seconds on a message.

Keep moving forward and don't get hung up on someone u haven't met or have only dated once or twice

I would send her a quick follow up just checking you are still on for Monday, just in case she is actually hella busy.

I always do that day of as well just to make sure I'm not getting stood up...
 
I don't mind the dad bod. I'm a sucker for a guy with an "average" body. And I am a slim, fit gym junkie

I avoid really muscular guys and obviously don't want a guy that is 4 times the size of me. But hey chubby dad bods are completely okay with me haha
