I'm ****ing useless on these apps. Have no issues picking up women in night clubs/bars etc.
I've had 3 conversations with 3 pretty girls (Bumble and Hinge), all going well. Pretty much all agree that we are going to meet at some stage. Ghosted by all 3.
If it wasn't such a shit show trying to meet someone normally I'd give up on these apps altogether. Also trying to get something going to assist getting over someone I was seeing for 6 months, who guess what, started ghosting me.

Unfortunately online dating is basically a numbers game, there's some kind of study about the ideal number of messages to exchange before meeting (It's something like 10 from memory) such that you haven't made a huge time investment but also don't end up in a weird messaging limbo-land.
Hinge was the best of the lot when I was on the apps, but not without the usual online dating pitfalls where people ghost on a whim.

Also timing of messaging is key. I keep ****ing up by starting conversations at the start of the week where my week and weekend is booked out.
There's only so much convo you can make via message before it fizzles. By the time I have time and hit them up again they've moved onto the next one. Hinge is good for pausing profiles in that regard, also find Hinge is the worst for ghosting as well though.

This is a bit of a different situation, of course if you’ve said no and they still persist, fair enough. But if you’ve just been talking and they just disappear, how rude and disrespectful.
