I repeat, I DO NOT WANT THIS MERCENARY FLOG.
From his press release

"But this was a combined football/lifestyle decision and the balance between the two. I was born in Sydney, I have a lot of friends and family there, and this offers me a chance to play football in a lifestyle which I really enjoy.

I think these two are the wrong way around. Will he be in their best 22?

You guys have been reamed by not only the new franchises, but now also by this flog. Really feel for you guys, hope you get a fair deal.

Meanwhile I have no ******* idea how Sydney have room in their cap for him. The extra 'help' Sydney is getting needs to be seriously looked at. When the premiership team can land the big fish in trade period, something's not right.

While I'm not going to deny the extra space has played a part of this, we were no where near paying the full cap this year and with Bolton almost certainly retiring + a whole host of players on the veterans list we do have quite a fair bit of money to play with.

Is anyone surprised?

It's not homesickness, it's not the media, it's not the city but as usual it's about money.

Time to make a stand. I'm sick of getting done over by other clubs in trade week. We must not allow a Gunston type scenario where the destination club offers a tin of baked beans and we grudgingly accept it.

**** him off to the PSD. At least he will go his whole career without playing in a flag (will be done and dusted by the time they are contenders).

People bring up the Nick Stevens situation - well it didn't stop Port winning a flag the next season did it?

As much as I do appreciate what you have to say, talk of salary cap rorting from a Hawks supporter does seem a bit rich

I'm a little bemused that the general thought here is Polec would be a good get but mention of Luke Parker causes a melt down. My reading of these two are they are of same vintage but Parker appears to have shown a bit more thus far.

I'm curious as to why people think getting polec is so much. better than getting parker. Parker looks a beauty to me...what am i missing here?

Of course pick 22 is no good ....swans will need to do better there.
Is it outside inside thing? Not too familiar with Parker but I know Polec is an outside Mid something we would be keen on. Not that it matters now.

Depends how many times he hits his head on his bedhead, concussions are pretty easy for him to get nowadays... Cant wait to see him sit out most of the season and Swans fans turn on him, would be fantastic, see what he likes of the culture then..

This reminds me when I would play comic hero card games on the bus on the way home.

I have no idea what we will get.

But I would rather screw Turt and send him to GWS Then get crap from Sydney.

I would rather get respect then beans for Kurt.

You reckon?

If they (Sydney) are keen on him, they have to trade. Sure they have no picks of value, but do have some good players. Of course a third team can be involved.

At least they have to trade with us, no threat of PSD.

I know for a fact AFC think its gonna be hard to get a good deal.

What did he say?
Lifestyle choice
Longmire and Ireland went to see him 2 days after GF, original approach was made a couple of days after he put contract talks on hold in August.
Still crapping on about Adelaide's agreement to facilitate a trade "to the club of his choice"
Veiled inference that if AFC cant get the deal done with Sydney, he can walk to GC for free in PSD

this guy is an utter liar. Name me one time in the last 6 years when he has gone and visited these friends and family in Sydney? He's just saying that so he doesn't appear to be a whore like he is

I agree with most also, I actually don't care if he goes to GWS, better than a hack and a crappy pick for a team up the top, let him play for the rubbish that is GWS..
