It would just be nice to hear Triggy or Harper come out and say... there is no ******* clause, we will get the best possible deal done (has anyone from the AFC done this? Did I miss it?) Until I hear that, all the press stuff regarding us only getting a round 2 pick is making me nervous. I'm feeling fragile...

They are both on holidays apparently.

Sydney aren't stupid, they know that they aren't going to be able to just lowball us with the threat of getting nothing in return if we won't deal. IMO the club would be happy to let Tippett go for nothing if the only other option was being royally screwed in a trade with a side we'll be contending with for the flag next year.

Sydney has last pick in the PSD, so better come up with a fair trade deal if they are serious about trading for Tippett.

That means giving up a quality player (not the fringe players mentioned) either to AFC or another club.

Otherwise off to the PSD for Kurt.
Skurt's massive ego won't like being sent to the PSD as then he won't get his choice of club or paycheck...I reckon we should send the c*** there on principle and see if we can't get Sheedy or GC to help us out with an amicable deal that doesn't involve the swans.....Skurt has burn't his bridges with everyone but Sydney now so I reckon GC won't be interested in him now...I mean how do you introduce a player to a club when that player spurned you? On principle GC wouldn't take him...after telling Stabby he was an idiot I'm actually thinking that there's a possibility (maybe it's just really late at night for me) but maybe Skurt has now pissed off enough teams that no one will touch him in the PSD and we could pick him up again and then let him rot without playing him. That would be the funniest thing ever....I probably just need some sleep so feel free to ignore this post

Herald Sun said:
(Blucher said)"Even for Kurt to play under John Longmire, who actually played the same role that he plays, was a bit of a thing for him because he's never played under a coach who was more than about 5ft 9."
Crows coach Brenton Sanderson already ticks that box, standing at 185cm (or 6ft 1).
This guy is the biggest flog involved in the AFL since Nixon.

Also...
Herald Sun said:
"They (Sydney) came and we somehow managed to get in the front door of the Tippett house without being seen, better still we got away without being seen," Blucher said on Melbourne radio station SEN.
"We sat down for three hours and we got away with it.
"At the end of the day there was nothing to hide, there was no commitment at that time. It was just a presentation and he made his decision late yesterday."
Gee he's clever isn't he?

I don't have that kind of faith in Trigg etc...they have a huge track record of being massive pussies....I know what Choco would do however...;)

The guy I've been thinking about (not in a sexual way!) throughout this entire Tippett saga is Lewis Johnston. Former Swan who when drafted by the Swans would have been earmarked to play a key forward post that (now ex-teammate) Tippett will be playing. Wouldn't it be ironic if Johnston had a breakout season in 2013 alongside Tex, and Tippett just didn't fire? Balls in your court Lewis. Time to translate your excellent SANFL finals form into some decent AFL footy. It's now or never...

Bet they're regretting it already - their great 'steal' of last year's trade period, Tommy Walsh has looked to be a dead set spud. Johnston at FF might have been mighty handy for the future; don't think Morton can keep it up.

The swans will do a fair deal but I suspect crows fans still won't be happy no matter what. Fair enough I would feel the same if the shoe was on the other foot. It could be a game of bluff though all the way up to the trade deadline in two weeks. I still though think your midfielders are much more highly prized, I wouldn't lose too much sleep if I was a crows fan, you still have the team to challenge for a premiership.

Reading all these Swans flogs with shit trade suggestions really has me hoping that this Tippett trade leaves the Swans players bitter after bringing in someone from outside the club who can't kick straight and making them the highest paid player in a premiership team and trading away a premiership star to get him

Then we won't have to hear about the "Bloods" every ******* 2 seconds. Their culture can **** right off too!

We aint worried about that. Its the dog moves and the bullshit excuses we have been served up by his manager. Not a tall enough coach? WTF is that shit?

Hope his head gets jammed up his arse so we don't have to listen to him anymore

And $kirt, like Cunston the year before, couldn't even look his mates in the face. He texted them. Weak.

If you read the quotes by Bulcher he's actually screwed up big time....he said that the swans contingent came to the gold cost and they 'snuk' into tippett's house and they 'got away with it'....meaning tippett was there and talking to the swans...but then I think he realised he stuffed up by saying that because in another article 24 hours later he says..

"Tippett's agent Peter Blucher said the Swans had contacted Tippett's management company in late August, but insisted he did not tell the forward of Sydney's interest until after the Crows had lost their preliminary final to Hawthorn"

ah...really? you kept this offer quiet from your client until the season ended? no you didn't you moo you're just a lying sack of shit

if tippett had any idea he'd fire bulcher before he can open his mouth again. the guy is just blubbering shit, making adelaide angrier and backing him and his client (as well as future ones) into a deeper and deeper hole.

couldnt see the dogs getting rid of any first round draft picks.
Especially not for Parker and pick 22. The Dogs have seen exactly what it's like to have a good midfield with nobody to kick too. Have a feeling you guys will be trying to grab a pick in the mini-draft to get Hogan.

Also, give us Griffen! :D

THIS IS THE DEAL TO DO IT, Cmon Port

Parker (Swans ) + Swans pick 22 to the Port Power
Ports Pick 7 to Adelaide plus Trent Dennis Lane from Swans
Tippett to Sydney

or

-Parker (Swans ) + Swans pick 22 to the Richmond Tigers
-Richmonds Pick 9 to Adelaide plus Trent Dennis Lane from Swans plus swap Adelaide's second round Pick 40 for Richmonds second pick 29 (GC Compo pick)
-Tippett to Sydney

Parker's best game in 2012 was against the Power , they will value him and need inside hard nuts. He is 19 or 20 and a Premiership player and has 12 years of footy in front of him. Pick 7 could be a dud, Parker wont be. The only thing is Parker may not want to come here but then we try the second option with Richmond.

Adelaide would then have picks 9, 19 and 29 in the draft, 9 and 29 which would have come through the Tippett deal along with Tent Dennis lane.

Draft picks may all turn out to be spuds though but Crows dont need Parker type so Richmond gets a ready made mid who has already made it which is more guarantees tahn a pick 9

Isn't this technically illegal a la the uproar with Davis. These quotes of Blucher's where he says he was in Tippett's house with the Sydney management agreeing to terms should be bundled up and sent to Adrian Anderson.

going by what our board thinks we will probably use them both for the mini-draft.

no chance getting Griffen back now, injury free his best seasons are set to be the next 2!

Oh but come on, he did..

His campaigner manager said so right here:

Dumbass said:
"Obviously he made that decision and I've got to tell you it was a very, very hard decision in itself … it's very hard to look in the eyes of teammates who you've just played a preliminary final with - they were a whisker away from playing in a Grand Final - and say, 'I'm leaving'.
Is this guy for real?

What a delusional tosser.. And now with some of his other comments, he's trying to make Adelaide look like the bad boys if we don't come to the party, bend over, lube up and take whatever is given to us as a trade..
