yeah keeping a bit of room spare wouldn't be the end of the world
I mean I don't think Tippett's loss opens up a gaping structural hole that has to be fillled (assuming our young forwards like Smack can manage to progress next year) my only serious concern is who becomes our second ruck.

I'm sick of reeling off the reasons why we do not want Day and why Day doesn't want to play for us.

Just take it from people in the know that it will not happen and if it does we are getting reamed.

Chris Knights said that he would be pissed off if Kurt went anywhere else but GC and he didn't think the text message was the way to inform the guys. Tat text, if it is as reported, is gutless and a load of bullshit. It takes a man of character to front up his team mates and tell them face to face what his decision is. As hard as it is to do, it is the right and classy thing to do.
The text message itself...
He reportedly wrote: "Boys, this morning, I have told the club that I won't be renewing my contract for 2013.

"Making my decision has been one of the toughest processes I have ever been through.

"I have asked the club to shoot through an email to you all but in case it doesn't get through I want to thank you for your support and friendship over the past six years.

"Have absolutely loved playing alongside you all.

"You are all friends for life! I'll be in touch. Love KT."

I guess if Day and Gorringe (or just Day) are not coming to the Crows, why were both of them at West Lakes Shopping centre today?

I would think, if Gorringe had an appointment at the Crows, Day would not have been keen to sit in the car. I can not see why they would go to West Lakes when neither of them live in the area, and would they chose to go to that shopping centre of all places the week before trade week?

Why would they go to Marion or even TTP that would be closer to both family homes or the areas they grew up in.

You do raise a good point... The plot now thickens...

Then just it back and laugh knowing you are right instead of being hell bend of trying to change people mind.

Well let's face it, you've acted like a bit of a punce. Credit where it's due... You got the fact that he was leaving right (well we pretty much all knew he was going). And the date right (given the club gave him until today). Now it's just down to the club (gold coast was a no brainer really) and the reward. Rowey said tonight he spoke with John Reid today who says there was no such clause. Apparently he is going to speak on the radio later this week, will be very interesting.

And Rowey has been on the money on this (and almost every other) subject?

Come on Jenny, don't you feel just a little bit of anger. He broke up with us on a post-it note (obscure SATC quote for bewildered males)

That's what's been bugging me. And to have both of them there... Getting my hopes up...

Why are you so hell bent on proving you are right? Fair enough to lay out the details, but to sit there and counter each and every disbeliever reeks of attention seeking. If you're correct, good luck to you. Thanks for the info.

This. Exactly this.

I can just see him (or her...Fits the attention whore thing perfectly) starting to actually believe their logical asumption was more than just that. A few posters absailing from their nutsack, posting questions and throwing up e-Hi 5's have made this banana think he/she is the next Rumour Ralph. Tippett's gone, most likely to the Suns...We all know it. Congrats on trying to claim it first.

I've listened mate, and if you're right, the I hope we stay the hell away - or at least don't make him the centerpiece of any trade.

And guys, I missed most of the Knights interview - did he actually pot Tippett and say it was a crap way to leave?

Grundy + Pick 22

That's the absolute best the Swans can offer.

No chance you get Rohan, Jetta, etc.
Really???

You guys would pat 800k+ for a player yet wouldn't pay what he is worth in a trade?

I think not. You would have about 6-7 players that were untouchable, other than that who else would be worth getting paid that sort of money?

Who would you consider worthy?
