Not good enough. He should have written those demands down, signed it in blood, addressed it to Adrian Anderson, folded it into a paper plane, set it on fire, thrown it from the observation deck, and pissed on it as it floated down. He's such a soft**** :mad:
Settle down. I wasn't having a crack at Trigg, I'm glad he is pissed. The Eiffel Tower line was a joke.

Haven't seen him play have you ? .......biggest SPUD i have seen

Essendon tried to trade him last year ...no takers, correct all 17 clubs said no .....and how many are desperately looking for KPD's ? :rolleyes:

Fletcher due to retire soon .....and Essendon trying to offload his potential replacement>

Sounds like we have an excellent prospect there :rolleyes:

If your talking bout Hooker we wanted him last year but Hird decided to keep him

Have you heard which young midfielders the Club rates higher than Toumpas, other than Whitfield and Crouch?

Havent chatted much bout the draft, viney is better and daniher but they are likely F/S, i'll wait till trade is over.
Im trying to get some more info bout the KPDs and outside midfs we mit get.

Draft order here;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_AFL_Draft

#6 from the Dogs; Caddy have that much currency?

All comes down to where Jimmy T will go for me.

If he goes top #3, then we need #2; and I still think that's reasonable for Kurt - especially for the GC.

I see it more like Caddy to the dogs (if they're interested), #6 to us (they'll use #5 in the mini draft), our first rounder (#20 due to Goddard compo) to the dogs, and Tip to the Suns.

Question is though, I've heard Doggies are into Toumpas, and if they think they're a realistic chance of getting him with one of their picks, they'll take him. Toumpas certainly fits in better with the doggies instead of Caddy, considering they have Boyd, Cross, Smith, Liberatore, and Wallis. Only outside runner is Griffen.

I reckon Caddy's stock has fallen a fair bit though since he was drafted, and we might have to give a little extra to get him, someone like McKernan (I know some might not like this considering our shorten stocks in the ruck, but with reports saying we're the front runner for Giles, this won't be a problem).

So if a 3-way happens, this could possible eventuate. We might get slighty reemed in this deal, but it's definitely better than losing him to the PSD for nothing. GCS has a fair bit of power it seems.

Adelaide --> Tippett (GCS), McKernan (WB), Pick 20 (WB)
Adelaide <-- Pick 6 (WB, Toumpas, Plowman, other outside mid), 2nd Rounder (GCS)

WB --> Pick 6 (Adel)
WB <-- Caddy (GCS), McKernan (Adel), Pick 20 (Adel)

GCS --> Caddy (WB), 2nd Rounder (Adel)
GCS <-- Tippett (Adel)

GCS don't want to give up much, so we need to bring in the doggies to get a little bit more out of the deal. Caddy + pick 25~ doesn't equal Tippett, so GCS definitely come out on top there, WB get a highly touted midfielder, an undeveloped but high potential forward, and a first rounder. We give up 2 talls, a first rounder, for pick 6. We're definitely the losers in the deal, WB come out about even, and GCS are the winners. Not sure how that sits with the doggies, but that might be a best case if pick #2 isn't offered.

I would rather a CEO who gets cranky is a bit of a prick but is respected by the AFL as an operator and does make real decisions (that he believes rightly or wrongly are best for the club), than a guy who says a lot of nice things about reviews and due processes (and who "we" are) , but when you go looking for actual results and outcomes they are few and far between.

I don't think I even read that thread

The one where Trigg needed to be a louder and more aggressive version of Eddie Everywhere by - and this just for starters - announcing legal action against the AFL over the umpiring in the Hawks game, or get the sack for someone who would.

Faith Hooker has no idea .... my understanding was Essendon tabled him with no takers

Hird may have had a change of heart at last moment, considering they would have only got a 3rd round pick .....but his trading was originally Essendons idea

Yeah, now that you mention that I do recall it - Hooker was shopped around everywhere by Essendon, but nobody would even give up so much as a half eaten sandwich for him, even the teams desperate for key defenders.

he was under contract

now however...

i thought he signed the contract to stay with the crows, rather than to join GC as i remember GC were trying to lure tippett for their inaugral squad but this idea was put to bed because tippett signed a new contract which lasted until now?

He re-signed with us at the end of 2009 season with a year still to run on his contract. GC had that window at the end of 2009 season where they could have signed an agreement with him but we managed to re-sign him before that window opened.
