Plus the most importnat thing to Sydney has always been public support in the Sydney market .....get rid of your premiership heroes and all hell would break loose .....it would be akin to not making the finals
Jetta is not just a premiership player. The crowd in Sydney love him and everytime he touches the ball you can literally hear the entire SCG change sounds as the crowd just know something great is about to happen. Jetta brings in crowds like few other players on the Swans list and in the Sydney market that makes him worth his weight in gold.

I don't see why GC would increase their offer. He's a luxury, not a necessity for them. Sydney I can understand, they just won a premiership, have a few older players nearing retirement age and need to top up their list. It just sucks that Sydney have the least amount of tradeable assets and GC have the most.

Just cannot see that happening, as much as I'd like it.
Polec has not established himslelf so you are all over valuing him. Is behind Brodie Smith.

Kurt is a rare breed of ruckman forward. there are very few of these around or coming through thus his value is alot higher than wingmen / midfielders that fall of trees every year. Thus 8 and redden or Polec is a must and definitely realistic. A pick 8 can be a complete bust. MAYES IS OK BUT FROM WHAT i HAVE SEEN IN sanfl FINALS NO GUARANTEES OF BEING A star and body shape is still few years away from AFL standard. Picks 1-5 are normally good players. Afetr that its all a lottery

Be prepared to be disappointed then, we are dreaming if we think we'll get Polec/Redden AND 8, Polec and 23 and we make the best of a very shit situation, I still believe a quality deep midfield is what wins gf's...

Can Kurt change his mind? Or has the bridge been burnt exploded and had plane crash into it?

I remember same players changing their minds and staying with their club?
Too late IMO - bridge now in ashes. Particularly response of players to his decision to leave. If that hadn't been so poor then a return might have been possible - particularly with BFers pulling their heads in - bu can't see it now.

Although extremely remotely unlikely, it is not unfeasible?!

I get the feeling though that Dangerfield finding the cure for cancer is more likely?

Jetta especially is crucial to the way the Swans play and our game style. Without him we are a lot less dangerous.

Redden no chance; but Polec has had a 'meh' year, we'd need him to want to come home as well.

Make it Kurt+#19 for Polec+#8 - that'd have to be close.

honestly, I don't know if it because he left, but Tippet to me is becoming more of a ******** as this stretches out.

all of the "it's his future" and "what about the concussion" excuses are out the window, what a selfish piece of shit.

Yeah its either poor player management, or poor human being. I do agree to an extent.

For some reason my gut feel is it's Blucher's doing though.

You might be right, I actually know a person like Tippet, in terms of decision making

So I guess with the same amount of media speculation in addition to a complete moron for a manager it could all end up looking ugly as well.

SEN reporting Brisbane thinking Sydney are favourites. If we lose him to Sydney they have to scrap that extra salary cap for Sydney. Sydney is now a recognised strong club and has no problem attracting players, plus the city itself is an attraction enough.

Brisbane have also said they are holding off all deals until Kurt decides. That means if Kurt does choose Brisbane they can't afford to let negotiations with Adelaide to drag out. Our best option is Brisbane by far, the PSD threat is removed, they've got potential trade opportunities and they aren't a top 4 contender.
