I doubt that he lay down thinking he didn't want to beat his future employer.

However, if I was staring at a million dollar contract and one head knock was enough to write it off, I'd be tempted to go easy too. Just sayin'.

Amen

But even if he was thinking of money in the Sydney/Freo games, it doesn't explain the Hawthron PF performance. It sounds like the Sydney idea was there already through all performances, and he was our best player in the PF.

Everyone is forgetting he played pretty crappy ever since his concussions (other than vs Melbourne and the PF). So all this thought process is rubbish, he gave his all, played crap, Walker was much better. He was lucky he played on Shoenmakers in the PF, if he was on a decent defender he would probably have been crap again.

People reading way too much in to it all. Even the 'if he wanted a premiership he'd stay in Adelaide'. At the end of the day, he did hate the Adelaide media, couldn't surf etc. In Sydney, he can (could have before all this) get away from media, and the weather is generally better for longer. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a selfish prick, and will never support anything he does again, but lets not get carried away with all the conspiracy theories like many have on the previous 745 pages.

He was pretty hit and miss all year, I had him in my super coach team and he would go from blinder to dud every couple weeks.

And I will admit that I had consumed a few beers, but his Prelim game was ok but i think that Tex took most of the hard D and a lot of Kurts work was about easy contests in space.

It is my 1987 swans membership badge. Took the photo on my iPhone. Rarely use a computer so it looks fine when I see it on the phone. May need to change it now.

That photo looks a lot better!

I'd also had a few, but that's why Tex's game was so good, they realised the matchup of Tippett and Shoenmakers was a lot better, and Tex continuously made it that Gibson was in no mans land to be third man up, and then snagged a few as well. But Tippett was still bloody good.

It is certainly clearer what it is - there's a lot less chance it'll be confused for a urinal ;)

SEN (Russell Barwick) just reported that a story will break later today that Folau wants back to League. Just a smoking gun at this stage. If that is they may have a place in the team for Tippett.

Kurt would be shitting a brick, there is no way GWS will not pick him now. What a massive **** up by the Tippetts

Dont forget Sydney.

If Caro is to belived they werent even prepared to hand over 23, which we would have taken on its own.

Monumental **** up

Where is Irelands chest beating now? "Negaotiations are moving nicely and we're very confident of a deal being done soon'.
He's been pretty quiet lately. What an arrogant flog he is!

Just double checking because I'm not sure on the rules. If Folau quits does that mean they can use the remaining 2 years of his contract in the salary cap again?

For some reason I still think he will end at the Swans, but by god do I hope GWS picks him up. Will serve him right getting battered every week and the team getting flogged. By the time they are ready for a flag Kurt will have had enough of footy anyway.

They would be able to, as Folau quits. But as was said previously, without actually knowing, a hell of a lot of Izzy's money is actually counted within the cap.
