Well done some of my more recent posts about this subject will be a little behind as I'm a few pages back. Can you translate that last bit for me??
And thank you. I see your point re bias and will try to reign it in.
Most of the vile would have been directed at Tippett for wanting to leave and if we came out and said we were going to make him close to our Highest paid player and he still left I don't think many would have blamed the club. Most people except the Davis and Bock left because of rediculous money. Same would have applied to Tippett.Haha, have you seen how posters have reacted to the club losing Davis and Bock? There are plenty who blame the club for losing those blokes. Tippett was like God in this town at the end of 2009, I really don't think people remember how large his media profile and importance to us was back then. No one could have predicted Tex would come on as he did.

That's what the second sentence is all about. You are making assumptions.
I'm aiming for 27k before this things raps up.What's with all the double-posts?
(Who didn't see that coming?)
My understanding it was $14k per day? Still not cheap by any account. And Caro Wilsons suggestion that the adjournment happened because the Club didn't have faith in either Trigg or Harper so they had to hire their own representation is just laughable! She's just bloody making stuff up. All four lawyers have been hired by the Club to act on behalf of the Club, each focussing on the individual charges.
I'm still going with this thread never dying.I'm aiming for 27k before this things raps up.
Imagine when tips gets his next concussion. This thread will go off!I'm still going with this thread never dying.
I know some facts. So, anyone know the facts yet? .......No.............carry on then.![]()
My mail is that that is not the case, rather as I suggested.
Yep. We lost our highest paid player for nothing. So, anyone know the facts yet? .......No.............carry on then.![]()
Without wanting to question your mail, that really doesnt make much sense. The only way the move makes sense is if the parties are being seperately represented.
Its not really like we needed more lawyers. We'd have a firm of solicitors working with the QC.
Agree with ST, only way to afford procedural fairness to what is effectively 4 co-defendants (albeit 3 being officers/former officers of the other) is for each to be represented separately.
Many ways that the Club's interests may conflict with Reid's interests etc. Would potentially put the lawyers in a situation where their duties were conflicted rendering them unable to act. Much cleaner (although also much more expensive) this way.

F*** what the Victorians think about the AFC (besides meNo matter how positive the outcome, even total exoneration - our reputation will unjustly be tainted, particularly in Vic.
Well they apparently want to lock in Hannelbery on a $500k plus contract which would make him one of the highest paid youngsters in the comp. Lucky they've got the living allowancehttp://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/tippett-legal-demand-to-be-set-free-20121119-29m9g.html
this development tells us KT is genuinely fearful of ending up at GWS. maybe Jude Bolton agreeing to play on means the Swans no longer have the cash to outbid everyone else?
Yep. We lost our highest paid player for nothing.
Even if there are zero further penalties this will go down as the biggest **** up in Crows history.
If there are further penalties then it's even worse.
Its not hindsight, it was stupidity. They were deluding themselves if they thought he would stay. They knew about the explosiveness of the clause. I can not believe they took such a big gamble with the clubs future and reputation.the biggest was not trading him in 2011 but hindsight is a wonderful thing

They were very confident he was staying. They actually thought he was ready to sign just before finals this year. Up until then every indication was that he would sign a long term contract. Its not hindsight, it was stupidity. They were deluding themselves if they thought he would stay. Uncontracted player leaving possibly to his home where they were going to be a bottom team and thus weakening our bargaining power anywaynew coach, unenforceable clause, friends for life ...
