Yes, but why? Your sensible statements and valid points are based on your admittedly reasonable assumptions of what you believe the facts to be. But nobody currently knows or will ever know the complete story, it has already been lost in the haze of vested interests, self-serving recollections and personal agendas.

Because Sydney kept insisting that he was part of the deal. Due diligence to ensure we weren't saying no to something that might have worked I guess. We never wanted him, we only looked at him to show that we were trying to trade in good faith. They were not.

Rubbish - KT slotted his fair number of goals from set shots .. and it's part of the deal with his type of player. Cloke is exactly the same, would you not want Cloke because he misses some set shots?

KT is a lot of things, but for a guy his size one of his best attributes was his second and third efforts ... his ground level stuff is very good. Add that to his marking ability, he is a rare beast.

Not my favourite type of player, but from a purely football perspetive having him on your team contributes more than just on the scoreboard.

I agree, although I have a very mixed history of feelings for him.
A) I dont care about the deal to keep him, im glad we got him to stay
B) I wanted to trade him last year when we had more control
C) I wanted him to resign this year
D) he is skilled and he is big, but I felt that he wasnt one of the big improves this year

I've thought all along that he wasn't a good fit for GWS and the only Tippett talk was coming from Sheedy who is now backing away to save face when they don't draft him.

Looks like he will be Swans bound in the PSD. Looking forward to his return to footy park in June next year - packed house? 19th Man never been louder?

Nope.

Button has certainly made a number of pointless and vacuous offerings though hence my response to him/her. They also made some salient ones. The ones that were the cause of the that particular exchange were banal in the extreme.

Just like other Crow posters on our boards they have swung from the good to the ludicrous. In other words what you expect.
