Can't see how anyone can justify them keeping their jobs if any of what EQ wrote is true.

EDIT: Even crazier is Sydney not only demanding Adelaide take Jesse White, but also give up extra draft picks back to them.

Harper, Triggy, Chapman all should be gone. And to hear how Triggy said that in the end accept a second round pick if Sydney play hardball, after telling everyone how he rang Bloucher telling him the deal is off makes me sick to my stomach. As a member I have been played. I dont know what to think about my club anymore.
We will loose picks for the next couple of seasons. We will not be in any shape to win a flag for the next ten years as a result.
I am gutted.

And if that version is correct and Sydney knew about the agreement and were using it against us how can they be in the clear?

Pretty much sums it up and the idiot has the nerve to go OS when shit is hitting the fan.
 
It would appear we are getting more truth on this matter from EQ than AFC.

I still can't see why Trigg was initially keen to get to the AFL hearing, knowing what has no come out? Unless EQ is way off the mark (which I doubt) or he has a magic rabbit to pull out, this pretty much sums up his poor judgement, which makes is not good enough for a leader of a major organisation.

Harper looks in massive strife too if he is writing secret letters, asking them to be destroyed.

What a mess!

And the atrocities in the article, cover-ups would be par for the course with all our other high profile players.

Well with Sydney it's just a he said, she said situation. They can just claim they were playing hardball negotiations and had no idea about the clause.
 
What an excellent piece of journalism. For what it is worth I say that without any malice. Factual and without bias or blame. Quality piece of actual reporting. My faith in that corrupted profession is somewhat restored.

Plenty to ponder int there.

But it's obvious she has a source in the AFL, there is no way she could get this detail otherwise
 
We deserve all we will get & there will be a heap of shattered AFC supporters that have got to live with this bloody disgrace, how the heck can any of those names in that article are not gone by next monday beggars belief.

Gotta say this is heaps worse than i expected.

Yep ......we've been played by the club ......no we've been lied to

Harper .....hs just confirmed my thoughts all a long ....dumb idiot
 
Whilst most of this is fact, don't forget that we do not have the context of some of this stuff. On the face of it this is all pretty incriminating, but I think the context is what the club hope will mitigate the damage.

My notion that Harper is way out of his depth has certainly been confirmed though.

Sure, but it's like the Melbourne tanking. One guy says "Yea, Sydney knew and were trying to profit from it" and Sydney can say back "Don't know what you're talking about. We had no idea" and certainly no one in Sydney, Blucher or the Tippetts would/will confirm they knew and were making sure Sydney got a deal.
 
I still wonder what harper could have done? The deal was there, he had to abide by it.

And he hasn't been the one telling lies to everyone publicly

The part about tipp rejecting 3rd party deals he had to work hard for should have told us everything about his character, but we ignored that
