Arranging for an AFC sponsor to pay a couple of players six figure salaries without any requirement to provide their services to the business. Paying this under the table and not informing the AFL is not ambiguous.

Sorry to intrude on your board and i am not trolling but as supporters you cannot let trigg, harper, and chapman continue. March in the streets if you have too, your club sacked rendell for the risk of it damaging the "brand" these guys have done alot worse than what he did and your brand has been damaged big time. Clubs who leave people in their high positions who have made the bad decisions and dont move them on quick enough suffer,look at my clubs last 5 years as an example. It was hard work getting rid of our underperforming Ceo, president and coach but as members we kept hammering away ,you guys need to do the same because it doesnt sound like their going to go by their own choice.

The Crows and Sydney met on the first day of trading. It appears the Swans knew about the exit clause and knew they held a strong hand, but weren't desperate to push the situation and were willing to work their first-round draft pick into a deal. But Sydney also wanted Adelaide to take the contracted Jesse White off its hands. Deeper into the trade period, the Swans also asked for two late draft picks in return.

Progress was slow, and the Tippetts were becoming increasingly agitated that a trade had not been done. I will be happy to admit my errors when (hopefully) the full story comes out on Friday. No one outside the inner sanctum (they would be the guys standing next to a lawyer) knew the full story but I am up to about 80% and counting. The agreement with Gold Coast at the end of last year hasn't been confirmed at this stage but you may have gone a bit early on that one jumbo.

My intention from the start was to see the people responsible for damaging my club pay the price for their actions. Hopefully the healing will start after Friday.

I know this belongs in the triggs gone discussion, but why does chapman say that triggs job depends on the length of his ban. Surely triggs job should depend on whether he's found to have broken the afl rules or not.

I can see now why Chapman has been so supportive of Trigg. He is rightfully fearful of his own job aswell. If everyone has the full support of everyone, nobody gets sacked.

The AFL is considering banning Adelaide chief executive Steven Trigg and football manager Phil Harper from any involvement in football for five months, The Advertiser understands.
A club fine of $400,000 and ban from the first two rounds of the next two national drafts is expected.

Where have I heard that before?

This is moving faster than I expected. Despite the denials from Rob Chapman I simply don't believe that ST will keep his job?

I agree! We've been calling for triggs head, but chapman is on thin ice, and the rest of the board will come into question over the next month depending on how they handle this
