I don't see why not. You'd have to think that after being delisted twice by AFL sides, he'd be far more grateful of an opportunity to play AFL football here if it were presented to him.

Wondering if it's worth a punt on David Hille (2yr contract MAX) while Jenkins, SMack, et al develop further. Looking at the Free Agent list he's the only real like-for-like.

Not sure if I am alone here but I would be dead set keen to see Walker and Fev, he would be free, he would allow us a few years while we groom Jenkins/Johnstone properly..He would be a potent mix with Tex... Wouldn't really feel like we lose too much with Tippett either as a big strong marking body would come in.. It will never happen but I can dream..

Would have liked us to get Joel. Kurt so selfish that he doesn't care that the way he has handled himself may seriously impact on whether or not his brother gets another shot at AFL footy. Why would clubs take Joel if they think that there is a chance that if he develops into a decent player he will get summonsed by his Daddy to return to the Gold Coast. Although would love us to get him and then Kurt can watch his brother win a flag with us while Gold Coast fights to not win another spoon.

Walker & Johnston leading forwards, Jenkins pack marking and Giles resting, is better than Sydney's forward line this year. Use Tippett to improve mids and backs

Sydney may struggle to factilitate a trade but for the first time in along time we actually may have some trade currency.

Wellingham is likely to go which will net us pick 16/17 from one of the WA clubs.

This will leave us with two first round picks in 16/17 and our current pick at 18.

I'm sure 2 first rounders would be of some attractiveness to the Crows if Tippett does want to join Collingwood.

We'd then have 16/17, 18 and 19 with our next pick at 40+. Not sure that'd be considered optimal for us.
