Just a side view of this fiasco if true Josh Kennedy not signed and knowing how much money being offered Tippett , what sort of $ would he be demanding now.
I also think if Kurt was to choose a non Qld club he will regret it and forever tarnish his name ,but not that worries me as already lost any respect for.
But much prefer either Qld team with a player ( non proven probably ) + as highest draft pick can obtain.
LIONS -- Redden or Polec who although not AFL proven yet was a greater talent than Brodie S
SUNS -- Gooringe or another tall which they have plenty . Not sure chase Day too hard as pay too much and not sure has mentality to ever get best of talent out of .
Finally $urt please hurry up and make up your b---y mind you lying money hungry -------

I think it's his Manager as much as anybody, and Kurt isn't strong enough to stand up and make his own decisions.
Said it earlier, it appears almost certain like he was planning to go back to the GC, but his Manager has tabled his contract demands thinking they'd pay him anything he asked, and the GC have baulked at it.
Yes, grew up in Victoria but moved to up the East Coast with various stops on the way. Started to support the Suns (at inception) as I wanted to be able to take my kids to the football just as my father had done with me and for us to support 1 team.
The Suns staff and players have been fantastic, Gary even recorded a birthday suprise video for my wife a few months back. I can't say enough about how the club has tried to embrace the community.
Seriously - he will be groomed as a KPD and we will be looking for options to replace him in the ruck/up forward (Giles/Gorringe/anyone)

Good to see the Brisbane Lions list manager is talking up the value of TURKey in any future trade deals.
I would think that would put Redden on the table in any future deals.
Redden wont come, that is a pipe dream, supposedly good mates with Rockliff and is well entrenched in their side. I doubt Brisbane would even consider parting with him.
Polec is far more likely, from memory he was best mates with Brodie
Smith in their time at WWT and is not yet a regular member of their best 22. Is also probably the exact type of classy, outside mid that we'd be after.
If he does choose Brisbane and I can see them making one last, final ditch play to get him (they probably need him most), I would hope that we could secure Polec and 8, for Tippett, 19 and I'd even throw in our 2nd rounder, for what it's worth. I really don't think Brisbane are too far off challenging again, but to do so they really do need to find a player such as Tippett who can take over from Brown.
Totally agree. Unfortunately I get the feeling that the team most in a position to offer us what we want is no going to be the team of choice for Kurt.

I agree. I reackon he's led Kurt up the garden path. Turned Kurts honest desire to go home into a highest-bidder-wins situation. I hope there arent too many of our players represented by him.

I know Blucher is from Velocity Sports management team which is Alastair Lynch and Michael Voss' player management company. Pretty sure Vossy is a half partner with Lynch?

Swans will have something to offer. Too professional to mske a 1m offer and not be ready to seal the deal at the trade table. It's just not as obvious as Brisbane.

I heard this one too, apparently Kurt is p...d off Adelaide didn't want to pick up his little brother. I have no way of substantiating this rumour
Just because Brisbane rate him highly, doesn't mean they won't use their position of power to get the best deal for the club, especially if he decides Brisbane. They will know Tippett's leaving regardless, therefore Adelaide would ideally want a deal to be done instead of leaving him to go PSD. Are Adelaide going to get a better deal than pick 8? It's what Brisbane was prepared to offer him this year, and with his concussions, is his value really greater than it was last year? Brisbane got pick 12 for Clark, and he kicked a similar amount of goals in 2011 to Tippett this year, playing a similar number of games. We said no to two of Polec/Redden/pick 8 last year, and I don't see how that's changed this year, except Tippett is now out of contract and has concussion issues.
EDIT: FWIW I still think Tippett will end up at GC, and this is all his manager's work to get GC's offer up. GC know he wants to go there, so are likely offering him the worse deal of all teams,

true, it is up to the club to fix this up.
Poor little 8 year old Kurt wants to go home but the big bully is forcing him to go to Sydney or a highest bidder..
I suppose Blucher was the one that made him leave Adelaide too, because Kurt couldn't make a decision that big all on his lonesome..
Kurt knows what he's doing, he and his manager are doing this together..
