I'll give it a crack. It's been a while since I was in a footy tipping comp. 2004 I believe. I'm pretty sure that it was the shattering expericne of the GF and the $40 that I lost to my one-eyed Collingwood supporter boss that turned me off.

Hey , so this is a mix of numpty question and tipping question.

I've started the tipping comp (1 for 1, yeah!) but I don't have that red 'tp' badge thingie. I'm a bit of a bowerbird in that sense. I was just wondering why that was.

You want a battle of the boards in the tipping contest because I've had an idea of doing the competition where the top 10 from each round will count for the team as thy take on the other 7 teams that has at least 10 members playing.

So having seen off a late challenge from Pauldrc and BeamStar17 I managed to squeak out a win for the Lion's Board Tipping Comp (ok 25th overall) ... apart from the glory of the win and the adulation and adoration of my peers (who most likely are too involved in SC and DT to realise there *was* a tipping comp on) ... I get a .... .... .... ..... .....
