This thread is born out of frustrations with recent and not so recent selections. With our team struggling it seems to me that we (myself anyway) are looking to team selections on Thursday nights to see if the MC are going to do anything to the team or select someone that would tip the balance for us.
I used to look forward to team selections for when the likes of Matera, Macintosh, heady, cousins were coming back from injury or suspension knowing they would make a difference in a big game.
A young player like Judd making his debut tipped the balance of a game in our favour against Collingwood in 2002, albeit we lost a close one. I remember us being belted in the first quarter and after him being released into the fray the game turned for us.
This week could be Josh Kennedy tipping he balance in our favour with the derby but if their midfield dominates us it won't happen. The musical chairs being played by the MC aren't doing anything to our midfield that would help us imo.
Who do you see as a player/s that could tip the balance for us moving forward if there are any?
