Enjoyed the campaign, shame last titan standing is empty don't mind that game mode. Attrition gets boring, need different playlists

Hopefully EA fund a big price reduction to increase numbers.

I reckon people will snap it up if it's $49 for Thanksgiving/Christmas

Reduce the playlists to just Attrition and Hardpoint

Or just scale the servers.. they're in Azure anyway it can do it.

I find games on american servers all the time.

This lag doesn't really affect me either, the lag in this is well compensated for

US servers are ok. sucks that preferred play time is early in the morning over there but what can you do.

Yeah but the US servers were very laggy. Asian ones are good, but they are empty in T2.

But Ive looked in the Aus servers every day since the game came out and I saw precisely 0 people in many of the different modes.

Nah 0 is 0. If you join it you become 1/12 or whatever in every matchmaking

The one thing that pisses me off about this is the lack of a pre-game lobby and stats.

I want to be able to see my own stats, my friends stats, the stats of the people who I'm about to play with/against.

Pre game lobby should show all players with their custom pilot outfits, titans, display pictures, emblems ect.

It's actually a pretty strong GOTY field this year with it not being obvious who will take it home.

I'd probably give it to Titanfall 2 for being the most complete package, but I can see scenarios that any of those 5 get named GOTY.

I think Uncharted will get it, can't deny that game was pretty brilliant.

I'd absolutely love it if INSIDE took it out - just glad to see it get nominated though.
But yeah, those guys at Respawn just know how to make good games.

Best Action game field is really strong as well, glad to see 5 worthy games get nominated ahead of COD.

Out of that list it would be Titanfall 2 for me and as mentioned it would be great recognition for a truly great shooter. It would have a stronger case if it didn't launch between BF and CoD as we've already laboured on about. Doom would be a very close second on my list. While the MP was pretty bland the campaign was unreal. Titanfall 2 managed to nail both aspects however. I was borderline going to trade it in last week with the lack of interest from the community but the last few nights I've jumped on there seems to be a healthy base still playing hardpoint and attrition on PS4 and fingers crossed a well deserved award can boost the numbers.

While COD will win out, it seems to be getting little to no talk.
All I hear is about BF or TF.

EA are probably playing the long-game and knowing that if they keep putting big (good) games against COD eventually it'll start to really impact.

Next year they'll be putting Battlefront up against Sledgehammer's COD most likely.

Outside of Destiny 2 possibly hitting that window it seems like 2017 will be a quieter year for shooters.

Yeah, I think Prey is the only other FPS that could come out at that time.

Ghost Recon is early 2017.

Have had more TF2 played in my household than BF1. Both good, but something about TF2 more fun.

Respawn just make fun games.
Even reading up on their Star Wars game, they're saying they their focus is on gameplay and making the game an enjoyable experience, not visuals etc.

There was some involvement in BF3 as well I believe when they defected from Infinity Ward to Dice before starting Respawn.
