Tivendale always made the team becasue we had no-one better to replace him with.

Now with the likes of Foley, Howat, Edwards, Tambling, JON, Meyer etc. coming through TW is saying that these guys have showed enough or have done enough at Coburg to be given the opportunity to replace Tivendale.

If they dont succeed then we rotate back again until they do.

Its a simple consistent message TW is trying to get through. You must earn your place on merit - nothing more nothing less.

Great news anyhow. Tivendale isn't going to get any better and our turnover stats just might look like a little better this week.

I'm no Tivendale fan but I thought he was a bit unlucky. Ordinary last week but pretty reasonable for most of the rest of the season.

To be honest, I can't believe he was dropped. I saw Richmonds first 3 games and I agree he was in the bests in all. Why???? While I can see he isn't a great ball winner, he must have the best kick in the team.

Good luck on the weekend guys...+ congrats to your club for picking up such a great lad in Nathan Foley. Its great to see a young bloke going in so hard almost every chance he gets... He would look even better in the blue hoops! :D

havent seen every game but the ones i did see tivendale was pretty accurate by foot - atleast not directly turning it over, tuck on the other hand has butchered almost everything hes touched. if tuck can find a smooth operator like deledio by hand every clearance he gets we'll kill but at the moment his wild blind shanks out of packs are costing us dearly. he wins out over tivendale here I think because of his hardness which is absolutely vital with such a young centre unit around him.
 
I played poker and lost tonight I equivelate this to the good old tiva for the sheer fact I usually don't take many risks but my best mates brother and his mates smashed me tonight (they're all 3 years younger).
 
Look it's a tough decision, and he has been playing pretty well but I'm glad the youth policy is in full effect..... I would have dropped Pettifer though, he's been rubbish.

The gap between tivendales best and his worst is great. There's no in between. Tuck and pettifer should also be concerned. The tanking has begun!!!!!!

Lids has made his fair share of mistakes from the clearances. Check his clanger count, Foley's the same. But they're learning.
 
It may be fair to say that Tivendale was dropped in favour of Danny Myer who is much younger. Especially after what happened with Gasper. On form alone you could not possibly drop Tivendale.
 
a useless, soft, hack. Says a lot about RFC that he has managed to play so many games. wouldn't get a game with any other team.
