In this screen shot lever is taking a kick down the line with minute odd to go. In the true defensive area we have a 4-3 and 1-1s basically everywhere else. Most of the Melbourne players are defensive side as well.
Salem is just outside the 50 near side here.
Viney does his stupid kick, ball gets switched. McVee makes a bad decision to go all or nothing on Docherty and it's kicked inside 50
In the space of 30s Carlton have 3-1 deep in our forward line
Salem has watched the whole thing unfold while drifting across the back 50 doing absolutely ******* nothing to help the game
ANB who is a half forward has gotten into the D50 quicker than Langdon. It's a complete and utter shambles
