Well guys. I know for some of you bagging this bloke is a passion. However;

- Yesterday he played his best game for the club in far from favourable conditions.
- Wears his heart on his sleave and trains and plays for the jumper and his teammates
- Has learnt to how to play attacking football as well as being an efficient shut down footballer.
- He learnt how to kick last summer which no one has given him much that much credit for to date
- His decision making has also come a long long way.
- Puts in 100% week in week out

He may not be the most gifted footballer at the club but for me he exemplifies what footy and our club is all about. So to those who love to bag him, lay off Timmy.

I've always underrated Timmy, but as of now I am a Tim Clarke fan. He has won by respect this year and has been one of our best players on the park. Keep it up!

Sensational game yesterday. Took big strides last year however been extremely impressed with him this year. Courage, passion and works so hard. His kicking has improved heaps and he kicked two big goals yesterday.

Clarko continues to get the best out of his players.

Ive always loved Timmy and have waited for people who werent followers of hawthorn to realise he is more then the man that the commentators always have to critcise about his kicking, his alot more then that. He threw it all on the line on sunday, Ive read his the hardest working bloke on the track and is a real leader and we all got to notice how this is all paying off....Great to see Timmy improving.

Agreed. I was a TC basher and rightly so - he's improved, I don't bash him any more.

In fact, thanks to Clarko, I'm more tolerant of all of our players........... except for ***** and ***** ******.;)

Up the back of M10 on Sunday were a huge group of guys... did anyone notice... everytime Tim Clarke got the ball they let up a huge woooooooaaah and then a woooof whenever he got the ball to his foot. On occasions when Clarke was taking a set shot, the woooooaahhh would last for quite some time.
Reminiscent of Ang Christou and Val Perovic at Carlton... would love to see it become full time.

I'll put my hand up on this one. Good luck to him and he is playing well. Started to show some form towards the end of last season.
If we need to make way for Buddy to return this week, i still believe it is out of Clarke and Dicko to make way in the forward line?

HAHAHA, get serious.

I cringe every time someone gives him the ball.

He was the reason why we lost against Collingwood. He cost us 3 goals
and contributed so many errors that cost the ball to be driven to the
Collingwood forward line so easily.

If it wasnt for him we would of been 5-0.

You're an idiot. Not one person expected Hawthorn to come out and even win 4 out of 5 games, let alone 5 out of 5. We're doing well as a club, how can you blame one bloke for a loss? Hawthorn play as a team, as awhole, not individually.

You can't go criticising one bloke for a loss. What a crock of :D:D:D:D.

Guys,

When one guy screws up on the field, the team are backing that guy up and encouraging him. Dawson is getting many pats on the head from Crawford as he learns his craft.
They stand together, united as a team whether it's after Williams kicks a match winning goal or Dawson hands one over to the opposition.
The Hawks stand together as a team... so should we. I call a halt to any more calling fellow supporters idiots or any other form of insult. If a fellow hawk is in the wrong, pick him up and help him out with some correct info... don't turn on your own... because that's not how we do things at Hawthorn these days... on the field or off.
Peace

Good points made here, hyperswivel. We as posters on BF should go out to encourage our players too. I have documentary proof that some of our players and their families do visit and contribute material to our board. So encouragement and constructive quality posts are required at all times.

Very harsh!!!
Watched the replay on Fox footy yesterday and must admit that Clarky was putting his head in places that some others wouldn't dare, so good on him. I am not a huge fan of his skills but if he makes up for it in other ways then he should hold his spot in the team!

I think his workrate is outstanding. He covers amazing ground and he does a lot of small team things each week. Very happy to be wrong about a player. I just wish he could bulk up a little.

Gary Lyon rates him, and said he's the fittest player in the comp. Quite a complement.
When the games to be won and players are tiring Timmy is always finding the ball and working hard.
