to all kangaroos supporters.

unfortunately we have been stitched up again.

as you know we will not be able to watch our beloved kangaroos on saturday night, because channel 7 the rodents have decided to show the collingwood/bulldogs game (a melbourne game!).

this is very unfair and i hope you can take a few minutes to write to channel 7 on http://i7sport.com.au/TVPortal/TheGame to let them know how you all feel.

its time for the kangaroos supporters to stand up, otherwise this crap will happen again and again.

to whom it may concern,

i would like to express my disappointment at channel 7's desicion to televise the collingwood/w. bulldogs game (game played in melbourne)over the kangaroos/sydney game (game played in Sydney)

by not televising the kangaroos/sydney game live, i think a lot of of melbourne based supporters of these teams will be disappointed.

furthermore, a lot of lazy supporters for collingwood and the bulldogs will not bother going to the game. so gate receipts and crowds will be lower. this surely is not good for the game.

why you chose the collingwood game is quite bizzarre. the general public who stay home on saturday are happy to watch any live game. the kangas/sydney game would appeal the same as the magpies/bulldogs game to most viewers. by televising the magpies game, you are reducing bigger crowds because people dont go to the game, but rather stay home.

in other words, you are damaging the game. i am very surprised that the afl have not realised the destruction to football channel 7 are doing.

I do not understand why the Kangaroos V Sydney game is not being telecast live into Melbourne. Come on Channel 7 enough of the spoilt child stuff we know you are hurting but why in turn punish the fans .......

HERE IS MY EMAIL TO THE GAME.

Please explain to me why you are not showing the Kangaroos vs Sydney game on Saturday night. We are struggling to get members and to deny us the right to watch the game live (and give us a highlights package at 10:30pm) against a game that is actually being played in Melbourne where supporters have the opportunity to go and watch AND they get to watch the match on your station (1 hour delay) is just NOT FAIR.

I hope many more Kangaroo and Sydney supporters based in Melbourne mail you guys so you realise just how important it is to us.

If you could reply to me or even mention our disappointment on air, maybe the powers that be can give us the opportunity to watch the game.

Good luck to you roos supporters. Up here in sydney, channel 7 treats us footy fans with disdain. The swans/roos game will be on at 11.55pm saturday night.
looking forward to what should be another good game between these two rivals.

Cahnnel Seven don't give a shit about footy anymore.

In fact, if they had their way they wouldn't show it at all.

They've lost the rights, so the imperative for them this year is to destroy the games television persona as much as possible. If they could completely ruin it, believe me they would.

The reasons are twofold :

1)TO leave Channel Nine nothing but a rotting corpse to pick over, and,

2) To somehow turn the viewing audience away from the game so that they will be nicely softened up for the coming avalanche of Soccer Basketball and Rugby Union.

So stand by for more willfull vandalism from Channel Seven over the next few weeks.

cheers

The way they played on Saturday night, you have all been spared the embarassment. I am fortunate enough to have Optus, and on Saturday night I had the family and a couple of friends over. I thought to myself, thank christ this wasn't televised live on C7, as our members deserve a better performance, than what was produced.

I suppose we have all been spoilt because our recent success, but all I want from my footy team is for them to have a go and play the game out, not the sub standard performance that was produced on Saturday night...
