Nah, I won't. I'm pretty much over it. We got 8 years of good service out of him, and looking at his performances for us last year, he was outstanding right up to the very last game. You can't question his committment to the cause for the entire time that he was here - he's our reigning B&F, for crying out loud. His departure was very different to, say, the Tippett situation. Tippett whored himself out to the highest bidder who had a salary cap advantage that we couldn't match and refused to negotiate in good faith on the trade. Danger went home for less money than he could have got if he'd stayed and Geelong... I wouldn't say they paid full, fair value, but they certainly weren't unreasonable, and Milera looks like he'll be a gun in the long term.

I certainly won't be cheering Danger or anything like that, but I'm not going to disrespect him by booing him, either. Well, no more than I'll be booing any other Geelong player, anyway :p

Aside from announcing his departure mid season, I don't see what else he could do.
He didn't have to lie. He could have said "I'm not discussing my contract at this point" whenever someone asked.

Also I wouldn't have minded it if he was honest and announced mid-season that he was leaving. Gives us time to prepare for games without him

I plant to boo, and intersperse this with observations about his lurid tales concerning the sexual orientation of his extremely close-knit family members, as well as other things I won't even hint at here

I will boo for the theatre of it and caught up in the moment.

Will be irrelevant because I stand behind thick glass in the Riding's bar.

He would expect the boos. He got booed heavily at the Port v Geelong game. Which I found amusing as a Tealster had a crack at me pregame when he heard I was a Crows supporter. Said I am only there to boo. He then booed heavily anytime Paddy got near the ball.

I cheered.

As weird as it sounds I feel like there will be "good-natured" booing if that make any sense. It's part of the theme of the game, it's why this game was scheduled for a Friday night at AO- there's an expectation of a crowd reaction when he gets the ball- I can imagine lots of people booing then laughing about it too- it won't be like a Kurt boo-ing situation.

Hopefully Dangerfield plays the sort of footy where he bores in constantly and tries to pick up the pack with the ball, like he did for us when he got fired up

I'd boo. I'm going to call it early, dangerfield will have his worst game for Geelong on Friday. He'll hit more crows on the chest than he does cats as well.

Passed through Geelong last night so tuned into their radio station. Conveniently they were talking about the Crows game this Friday and how poor Danger will be booed by all the Adelaide fans after all he gave for us.

They went on to say how the culture in Adelaide is to wear trackies everywhere and we only care about footy, not realizing that Geelong is bogan captial of Australia and ice capital of the world.

Unfortunately I can't be at the game, but I would BOOOOOO long and hard.

Danger lied to everyone all year. He was 100% moving before last season even began. He continued this farce right through the death of our coach and the hurt the club felt. He left knowing what pain the club had been through and what his leaving would mean.

I'm also highly sceptical that his move might have had more than 1 dodgy relationship to Costa and Mardi's dodgy dad. I'm hoping in removing the council there is a thorough investigation by the State government that might just uncover some uncomfortable relationships and dealings with Danger and his family...

BOO it up folks. Boo loud and proud.
