Are you going to the Final of the British AFL this weekend. Its at Clapham Common, Near Battersea on the 26th at 3pm. Should be interesting to meet up with a lot of fellow ex-pats I would have thought. I spent most of last year in Britain, thats why I take an interest, Im actually in Melbourne now.

Went to last year's Clapham Common final - actually had a kick to kick that involved Jacko and Capper (of all people) who both looked pretty fit after all these years!

dutchman, i'm flying into melbourne friday morning watching prelim 1 nth vs dees then prelim 2 ess vs carlscum, flying back to perth saturday night, hope you get to spend more time in melbourne than me

In London for another 5 or 6 hours

Not coming back just for the footy - really need to get a fix of the friends and family and it must be said Oz and Melbourne, but the footy's 100% responsible for the timing of the trip...

Had a season in the BARFL about 4 years ago - played with the Wandsworth Demons - the rule was/is? that you had to have at least 11 poms in the side and the rest were aussies. Made for some pretty interesting games when one bloke would hit you on the chest lace out from 50 metres and another bloke, well you had no idea where it was going to go!!!
