I agree. Clarke's form hasn't declined like certain other players, and we don't exactly have an abundance of quality ruckman. Hopefully Hudson will continue to improve, but if Biglands keeps playing both crap and dirty he may be traded whilst he has some value.
BTW I would trade him, but I don't think he will be traded.
Stiffy is confident Clarke will retire?
He indicated on an interview recently (not Stiffy)that he was feeling good and like every year would wait to the seasons end.
No hint this may be his last year.

Hudson has definately improved, even since the PS.
PS he just got his hand to the ball with not directional thought on where to hit it.
Now he is directing his taps.
I like him.

Again I agree with Wayne's-World. IMO we desperately need to draft/trade for a young "inside" ball winner. Someone in the mould of Coughlan or Jude Bolton. Our future midfield will have Reilly, Johncock and Schuback running through, but they are more running receivers more than "bottom of the pack" ball winners - ala Bicks.

Mr Fantasia - what can you do?
Theres a toughness about Schuback and Reilly that hasnt been too evident yet due their age and inexperience.
But give them 2-3 years, and I believe they will have developed a reputation, as fairly hard at it players.

For a big bloke his enthusiasm is infectious.
It like seeing an under-age kid palying his first game of footy.
His second efforts, and so far the visble improvements he's making are great.

Look he's only going to be a good average player, but give me his type, over a really talented player, who is lazy and doesn't fulfill his potential.

Yes Reilly hasn't continually hurt his shoulder, skirting around the fringes.
He has already given and received some solid bumps, and he's often on the bottom of packs.
We need some pace in the midfield, Sam Mitchell doesn;t provide that, despite how well he's playing.

For a kid playing his first game, he was very self assured, and attacked the ball with the confidence of an experienced player. Usually you would expect some tentativeness, or star gazing - no evidence.
His pace is obvious, but he has good hands, chases, and looked a natural forward.
One of the better debuts from a Crows player - usually they don't touch the ball.;)
Spot on Wayne's World,

He had more of an impact than I thought he would. He chased, tackled hard, set up a few goals and kicked one himself. You couldn't have asked much more from a first - game player, especially one that is as raw as Jericho is.

He wrote another passage in the bible tonight, that's for sure. ;)

Be aware though that first gamers who play well usually have a shocker the next week. They get ahead of themselves and don't find the footy.

But, looking at the confidence of Jericho, I am quite sure he'll do well against the Tigers.

You need a combination of both pace and hardness in the mid-field. Neither Bickley or Johnson were quick, but god they were hard.

We really miss those two!!

There should be a club rule that if a first gamer plays well, he is automatically dropped for the next game.;)

His style will in fact suit Telstra. I would expect Schuback and Him to get a game next week, even though Schuback should go back to the SANFL for a full game.

Watched Johnson play for the tigers last week.
His skills, qick hands and decision making are a cut above most other Richmond players.
I would have had him as our next captain. I think he'll be Richmonds next captain, unfotunately for us.
