This is an AFL web board. Take your Port Adelaide Magpies crap elsewhere, no one really cares. Come to think of it, no one cares about your crappy team in the AFL either.

Its easy to claim "we're gonna be good in a few years" or "we will dominate the competion soon". Supporters of any team can say that (even Fremantle). It does'nt mean it will happen, its all hypothetical.

Get the results, then come back with the claims of greatness. Until then save yourself the embarrassment, confirming what everyone knows anyway, that Port supporters are the most pathetic losers ever to live on this earth.

Anyone thats ever met a Port supporter knows exactly what I'm talking about.

And it's the Cows fans that the Vics despise, with your petty SA parochialism. Many Vics admire Port Adelaide and see them, as our name suggests, as an emerging power in the AFL. They hate the Cows more for the way their supporters carry on than their football ability. To the Vics, Port Adelaide are the acceptable face of South Australian footy.

PowerMad is obviously obsessed with his little team. Why don't we just leave him to dream in his own "version of reality". I get sick and tired of the let's teach the Victorians a lesson mentality. AFL is Australian Football League - a National game. Whilst I support the Carlton Football Club, I have never lived in Victoria. Many of my friends here in Perth follow teams other than the local one's. The greatest thing about our competition is just that - the competition. If there was only one team in the league it would be a very short season. I suggest that we just no longer respond to any thoughts (if you could call them that) that PowerMad chooses to put in and maybe he'll just go away - I for one, am sick and tired of reading his drivel.

Power Mad is just upset because Power aren't popular. At least thats the impression you get from reading some of his other posts. Port Adelaide were always the most popular team in SANFL and at the same time the most hated by other fans. This admittedly was probably due to their success. Now in the AFL it has turned out that Crows are the most popular at least in SA and certainly way more popular than Power. Also Crows are more successful having two flags to zip and hated by fans of other clubs as Power mad himself notes. All the things Port Adelaide used to be in the SANFL. Is it any wonder his envy is showing? It makes you wonder if his chosen nick doesnt actually mean Mad@Power.

You've got it wrong - it's the Cows fans who are have the anti-Victoria chip on the shoulder. I'm happy to see Victorian (or any) teams beat them.

Like you, I live in Perth, so you're right about people following teams other than WCE and Freo!

I didn't start all these anti-Port topics, I'm just sticking up for my team. I hope you would do the same if some MORONS posted rubbish about your team. And if you hadn't added your little contibution to this topic I wouldn't have needed to respond to you, would I?

The Cows only have the level of support that they do because they are the South Australian State team minus Port Adelaide, ie the Rest of South Australia. There'd be something very wrong if they didn't have a lot more supporters than Port. As it is, Port's level of support is way out of proportion to the one ninth of SANFL clubs that they represent.

Even with all the advantages the Cows enjoyed in putting together a superclub and the ongoing equalisation policies of the AFL, everything is on track for Port to catch and pass the Rest of South Australia and take up their traditional position as SA's leading football club.

All the above posts that have been written are exactly the type of comments I knew would be written by moron Port supporters.

I will say it again, no-one cares about your team. I only started this topic because, as childish as it may be, I love seeing losers make fools out of themselves.

It is not only the fans of all other teams that think Port supporters are losers. I work with a Power player with a non-port magpies background and we joke about you lot all the time. HE KNOWS YOU'RE PATHETIC. I only wish I could tell you his name, but for his sake I won't.

As you have no life Power Mad you will reply to this, and claim Port is the most popular tpoic on this board. Simple maths shows that that is only because you contribute so much yourself.

What strikes me as bizarre is that there are at least 4 topics on this site started by anti-Port people. And then they have the hide to claim that no-one cares about my little team. They might not care *for* Port, but the effort they go to to spill their bile shows that they certainly care *about* Port. And for good reason.

I am not a Port Adelaide supporter, but I have the upmost respect for the Port Adelaide Football Club. I don't feel intimidated by Port Supporters because I am so passionate about my own club. Port Adelaide are the most successful team in the history of Australian Rules Football and you cannot argue with that plus they finished 7th last year which is better than 9 other teams in their 3rd year. Jealousy I think is the best way to describe the rubbish that you so called footy followers are coming out with. This is supposed to be a place to discuss intelligent ly about football not to slag off about other supporters with pathetic insults. If you really want to slag off at someone do it to the AFL who got rid of State of Origin footy!
