Right back atcha, Grav ol' buddy.

Fame is overrated, fortune is where it's at!

I know everyone likes to give a shoutout to nurses, but I am going to give a special hurrah to the stoma nurses who genuinely have to deal with people's :poo: and also wee.

We Old boys love our cephalopod Braklet :heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart: as shown when we celebrated his 100th game

The Dragons told him, after he informed them he was moving to Spotswood for season 35, he was making a mistake and would regret the move. Well 2 premierships later that has not been the reality for Braklet as he embraces everything there is to being an Old Boy and the success that has come with it.

The former Dragon (S33-34 31 games) will become the Old Boys first cephalopod to reach 100 games in Sundays must win Elimination Final on Sunday against the Gumbies.

"This milestone is a sign of maturity for us as a club as more players rack up big numbers with the newest club in the competition" Braklet said.
"OOB have only played 83 games as a club so to play my 100th wearing the hoops and helping build on the OOBs success is a real stepping stone towards legitimizing us as the best team in this town".

"Moving to Spotswood was the smartest thing I ever did, the sense of community and mateship is nothing like I have had before and I just love playing for this team."

Team Captain Tigerturbulance stated "Braks has been a great get for the club, he is a great team mate who is always looking out for people and engages in all aspects of the club, its great to see him rack up his 100th game and I look forward to putting on the qooty boots with him for many more games."

I just said that I liked him, I didn’t want his life story, the enigma bubble has burst! 🥴

Shoutout to those who provide short term accommodation to young kids in need of critical assistance.

Mr & Mrs Jabba73 , you are both true heroes!
Steady big fella, I have a hard won reputation to protect in here. Don’t go ruining all my hard work.

Yep. That’s beyond the call of duty.

Every parent’s nightmare.

Fortunately they invented menthol-infused nose plugs for this purpose, because …

Emergency or crisis foster care, and temporary or respite care are essential when families break down and children’s basic needs aren’t being met by parents either absent or struggling to keep up themselves.

Hats off to all involved - those paid and unpaid.

Fortune favours the brave.
Gotta be in it to win it, hey Mrs Turbo ?

Sometimes you need to provide an essential service just to be appreciated.

I mean, where would we be without worms?

They assist in maintaining healthy soil, retaining water and recycling organic matter.

But they get a bad rap cos some of them are parasites.

Joking of course Mrs Turbo 😉

Nobody should be eating worms … cows included … birds by all means should though.

Witchitty grubs maybe (protein for humans), but again … not for cows.

And we probably don’t appreciate what we eat enough. But we can appreciate worms without eating them.

This is certainly not the place for hatred. 👊

I often make the same observation WRT buzzards:

Really amazing creatures, no head feathers to collect putrefied carrion goop, almost completely resistant to diseases that kill everything else. Nature's Trash Disposals!

Everyone hates them, until there's a stinky carcass around.
