If we do get Vickery I would rather Richmond grab Gugliotta instead of a ruckman again. Also intrested in why you gave Richmond Hunt?
Good effort though.:thumbsu:

You say that Melbourne will be after a key defender at 19, but it's probably the one area that we're OK in. Garland, Rivers, Warnock, Martin, and Frawley represent our future key defensive posts.

If Zaharakis is available at 35 I doubt we'd overlook him.

I too believe that one of Sidebottom, Blease, or Hill will be available at 17.

Definately one of the better PDs, the explanations are top notch.

Nice one TOA - its very hard to pick isn't it so many possiblities.

With the talls on offer that aren't really top 10 but will still be in high demand (Brown/Lynch/McKernan/Davis/Trengove types) I think that West Coast & Melbourne will get some very nice midfielders with the PP & early 2nd rounders.

After doing a top 20 last week I was surprised at how long it actually takes to knock one out

Well Done TOA :thumbsu:

Great read TOA :thumbsu:

A result of Rich, Blight, Strauss, Ballantyne and Anthony I'd be very happy with for Freo (not sure about Clarke ... haven't seen him play / don't know much about him).

think thats a great one mate. Read it all word for word...which i havent done with many.

I suppose this is the sort of list we could expect 'if the rumours are true'...although you have factored in club's needs and statements made by recruiters etc and a few facts about certain players and their links with clubs.

Personally, you've named my 2 hopefuls for picks 11 and 29 in Swift and Beams. Would gladly also take Sidebottom and Beams....or would be wrapped with Swft/Sidebottom + Lisle.

Thanks for the effort mate...I'd put that in the top 5 posted up so far.

good job mate
reasonably happy with the crows first 3 picks
would rather if the coin flip had have gone the other way though
(hoping it doesn't come down to a coin flip on draft day)
Heyne and Sibosado would be good pick ups in the 2nd and 3rd rounds
haven't heard of McGarry or Martin, so can't comment on that

Best mock I have read so far, great effort mate.

Natinui, Hill, Walters...would love that!

Thanks for the appreciation guys.

I might even try and do profiles for the 3rd round on if I get around to it.

Will probably also juggle some of the picks around because I literally did it in a couple of hours.

Ha, even better.

And now I know what TOA stands for...

Gotta say its kinda random that I picked the last 4 first rounders for the lions, dont know whats going on there.

nice work TOA. i hope you get pick #5 correct, i'd prefer Lisle at #23, and would be staggered - and joyous - if Pearce was available in the 4th round.

Fantastic read as always, really look forward to your mock drafts every year. Trengove was in Adelaide saturday so hopefully that means we consider him higher than McKernan who i just have my doubts about. Look forward to comparing yours to Burgatrons on wednesday.

haha, I'm flattered you would even think to consider me against him. Give me a full time wage and his contacts and we may have a contest :o

Nice work TOA.
DeBoer concerns me though at #40. We already have enough guys on our list that have issues hitting targets.

De Boer is hard to place, I heard you guys were pretty keen which in PD terms means lock him in :p

I know have some similar types to him but its the same at WC, we just keep drafting the same type year after year and sometimes you have to come to grips with your RM liking that sort (dont mean the type that cant kick, the other attributes De Boer brings).

Oh and fwiw, I've fiddled with the 2nd/3rd round slightly. Promoted Liam Jones and demoted Cahill basically.

Mate top effort:thumbsu:

I'd be stoked come saturday if WC got Naitanui, Hill, Walters, Zaharakis and Richardson.

Hopefully Ballantyne slips to #52, would rather him than Richo though.

I've only read to pick 11 and so far we have the same picks 10/11 times. Only difference is I have Ade taking Trengove.

How can I criticise!!

Yeah well yours is always well informed, i have tried to do one the last couple of years but from adelaide i find it to hard to do with limited knowledge of what interstate players and it normally leds to me overrating a couple of the SA lads.

So you've made a phantom draft? Any chance you're going to post it? As yours is the phantom draft that i'd be most intrigued to see as you have a better knowledge of WA players than most, if not alll on bigfooty
