Best time of the year for a toasted sandwhich, either at work or home.

What are some of the best combos you have?

My top 3
Tuna, Cheese, Avacado, Mayo
Ham, Cheese, Tomato, Lettuce, Salt and Pepper
Chicken, Cheese, mustard and lettuce

A good tip is too add lettuce after its toasted

I like to live dangerously with my toasties...

Tip I have is turn your toaster on it's side, you can make a toasted / grilled cheese in it.

Tasty cheese sucks... Personal favourite combination on a toasty a mix of parmesan, gouda and colby tastes amazing.

I'm sure they would be good but all I have at home is tasty and sliced. I can just put up with sliced if it's melted but otherwise it's disgusting

Try some blue cheese, its incredible!

Ah fair enough I tend to be lazy and buy the pre-grated, in which tasty basically just means we took a block of yellow plastic and turned it into little sticks.

Oh I have had blue, camembert, fruit cheese (which is amazing) but they are just for more special occasions. dont always have them round the house

bacon (heaps), peanut butter (fair spread), jam(little bit for a small taste) and banana(half a banana per sandwich).

Ham, cheese, pineapple.

Chicken, cheese, avacado (always have this in a toasted wrap or focaccia never as a sandwhich. Dunno why.)

Plain cheese with the bread buttered on both sides is amazingly good once in a while. However have it twice in one week the second batch is never seemingly as good. Strange?

Oh nearly forgot Salami, Tomato, Red Onion and cheese is another good combo.

I'm a plain cheese man, myself. Cheddar cheese. Sometimes add some vegemite or bacon, but just plain cheese is always the most satisfying for me.

i'd envisage that in the last decade i'd have consumed over a thousand chicken and lettuce toasted sandwiches from various establishments. the most delicious of foods as long as it's not a punce lettuce like rocket
