Big fan of toby, I never was one who hated him, just thought he had a serious case of white line fever and brain fades but from all accounts seems like a real humble bloke off the field. He's matured really well as captain, and what a freak of a player

I think Toby is the GOAT (at this moment). Whilst I think Ward is fantastic and he has won the same number of Best & Fairest as Toby (one), Toby has 2 All Australian selections to his credit. Agree however with your post that down the track Kelly could join him, and the sky’s is indeed the limit for Tom Green!.

As for best captain, agree that Ward and Davis are better as of now. But Toby has been an inspirational captain this season, with only Coniglio our other other sole captain. I think over the coming years, Toby may surpass Ward/ Davies, but not yet.
