Cox and taberner both went down yesty and could be touch and go for rd 1.
Leaving Mccarthy as the next in.
If Tazz gets up I don't think we'd be too bad off down back all of a sudden.

Fremantle have stoppage worries
If West Coast’s clearance work can scare a few teams, the Dockers might be frightened about what lies ahead for them if they can’t get Nat Fyfe on the park. If the Eagles held a first-half edge at the stoppages, it became a procession in the third quarter with a string of goals kicked from stoppages with players just strolling through openings. The centre-clearance count at the end was 18-5 and the overall stoppage count 55-27.

Fremantle’s ball handling and ball use is well off the pace against quality AFL teams now and it was on show again.

Its nice to start well but its not everything. Swans touched up the Eagles and the Hawks smashed the Pies in round 1 last year.

How often have we just missed out on finals or top 4 after blowing round 1 to a mediocre team? Every game is important.

If you just add a round 1 win last year and those 4 points, we still would have missed finals because our % was way behind.

Melbourne would have likely done a number on us in week 1 had we made it anyway.

Okaaaaaaaaaaay

S. Hill
Cox
Taberner
Sandilands
Logue
Switkowski
Bennel
Blakely
Kersten
Matera (suspended)

There's also something suspect about B. Hill

Fyfe & Darcy are both coming in underdone for match fitness (not that it will matter much with Fyfe).

I suppose Ross Lyin will unleash Nyhuis again.

I can't see how that's going to fix the gaping hole in his midfield.

Blokes we have to sit on:

Fyfe (naturally)
Walters (looked like Freo's next most dangerous midfielder)
Hogan (naturally)
Nathan Wilson (9 rebounds, next best was 4)

Happy to go head to head with the rest of them.

This could get ugly for the Dockers.....
