'Today Tonight', 'A Current Affair' Trash

Oh man. I too hate these shows. And I have a little story for you.

My Dad works at a council in Adelaide (which shall remain unnamed ). He did an interview for Today Tonight with that annoying short, fat, pushy bastard (buggered if I know his name). It was about some initiative the council set up to make things generally better in some regard (forget what, but it unimportant anyway).
Anyhoo, after the interview as the guy was leaving he asked an out of hand question about a completely different issue.. with the camera suruptitiously left switched on. He was obviously looking for a bite to base a story on. My Dad luckily noticed the camera was on and basically told him to **** off, and never come back (ie TT get no more interviews from the council at all, except by email).

Unsurprisingly the 'fake' story was never shown.

Never really watched ACA when in oz, Ray and Mike Munro(?) I found nauseating. I remember they spent the 70's chasing dodgy swimming pool salesman, which was pretty ground breaking stuff!
I did like the odd four corners, and loved Stuart Littlemore's media watch, as he got right up Rays nose.

Dont really watch much current affairs here, but a bloke called Jeremy Paxman at the BBC is pretty good. doesn't take crap from pollies, calls their bluff and gets em to answer questions, not bulls*** their way around it.
