I saw a photo of the AFL CEO and several Commonwealth games athletes from around the world.Apparant the AFL were promoting our game to them.
This is all well and good, however in the picture these athletes had AFL guernsey's on and they were all Victorian club gurnsey's.

Good, maybe it's the AFL's plan to start relocating some Victorian clubs overseas, maybe Collingwood would not only be sponsored by the Arab, but we could "relocate" them over there, say maybe as the "Baghdad Mapgies"

Well it is the MELBOURNE Commonwealth games. Do you think if we had some kind of international sporting team in Adelaide that they would be being kitted out in anything other than Crows or Power guernseys?
Now im as anti Victorian as the next person but cmon, those poor little vic clubs need all the help they can get

Thats right. Like the Olympics, the Commonwealth Games are hosted by a city, not a country.

If the C'wealth Games were hosted in Adelaide we'd be using Crows and Power jumpers for the promotion, there'd be no Richmond or St Kilda colours in sight.

Okay then shouldnt a Victorian football administrator be in the pic and not a AFL administrator?
I thought the AFL CEO represented a national competition,not victorians.

Meh, I think that's splitting hairs. To continue my earlier analogy - if the C'wealth Games were held in Adelaide at the time Wayne Jackson was AFL CEO, would it be out of order for him to appear in the picture with the Crows and Power jumpers? I don't think it's a big deal.
