So I'm thinking that because of covid we are going to get some interesting results in team events these Olympics. Not as much of a lead up season as normal.

Was just watching the 3x3 basketball Japan vs Belgium. Crazy ending, overtime win for Japan.

Was awesome! But at the same time I feel like some kids down the park are better quality.

Surprising. But from memory, we just chucked a few NBL/WNBL players together for the qualifiers.

Rather than having dedicated 3x3 teams, which the other countries seem to have. Same game, but different.

So there's an Olympic qualifying tournament then? Surely there's a group of mates out there that are good enough, the standard of that Belgium v Japan game was beyond poor.
