Yep exactly that. There was a breakaway group of three riders early on and they caught two of them with probably 5km to go and didn’t realise there was the third about 1:30 in front.
Dutch rider who got second celebrated a victory across the line and was interviewed and said nobody had any idea. 400-1 winner
