3 bets I like in the soccer:

Argentina to win both halves & Argentina to have most corners each halves @ 12
Argentina 1+ Goals in each half, Argentina 3+ corners in each half, Australia to have 1+ Cards in each half @ 26
Joel King to pick up a Yellow Card @ 10

Same game Multi: Argentina Win, BTTS= NO, 5+ Cards @ 8.50

Argentina XI: Ledesma, De La Fuenta, Perez, Medina, Ortega, Colombatto, Vera, Valenzuela, Mac Allister, Barco, Gaich

you guys will laugh at me

I have taken a bet on South Africa +0.5 goal handicap against Japan in the mens football , LAY bet at 1.14

Given the results of today, no team should be that short first game up at the Olympics.

Australia with 2 Yellow Cards

Argentina with 1 Yellow Card and 1 Red card

at half time

there will be more cards ...bad tempers between the 2 teams

Australia Over 40 Match Bookings @ 5.50
Australia Over 50 Match Bookings @ 9.50

Current Bookings at Half time: 20 match booking points

Australia should have had a few more yellow cards in that 1st half. Ref won't be so lenient in the 2nd half

Australia Had 7 Yellow Cards

7 Yellow was paying mid teens from memory at half time........

I underrated this Aussie team, fair play to them, think they may cause a bit of trouble to Spain and Egypt in this group.

Here’s the latest set of predictions for our medal chances:

Sportsbet have an interesting market up - Most Aus Gold Medals Swim Team $1.45 vs The Field $2.70

Whilst we’re predicted to win a lot of medals in the pool, our swim team has never come out on top compared to the rest of our Olympic team.

2016 - 3 (Swimmers) - 5 (Rest)
2012 - 1-7
2008 - 6-8
2004 - 7-10
2000 - 5-11

Should Australia be $1.10 or less in any swimming event?

Currently 4 x 100 metres womens freestyle is at $1.10. Next closest is USA at $7

Personally of the view that no event should be that such given the current uncertainty of the current situation and the opportunity of mistake or fault on event day.

I honestly can't think of an event or a team sport where Australia are considered < $3.00 to win Gold.

The TAB has 5 events in the swimming where Australia is under evens to win Gold (4 in the women , 1 in the men). Given the nature and bias of the TAB for Australian swimmers, would it be worth opposing any of these?

Mens 400 m freestyle- Winnington to win Gold $1.95
Womens 400 m freestyle- Titmus to Win Gold $1.40
Womens 200 m backstroke- McKeown to Win gold $1.42
Womens 200 m freestyle- Titmus to Win Gold $1.45
Womens 100 m backstroke- McKeown to win Gold $1.75
Titmus has shortened to win the 200 m ($1.33) and 400 m title ($1.40).

I may be a bit of a novice, but why isn't she competing in the 50 metres and 100 metres freestyle as well?
