Surely this is the absolute max - as Paris pointed out it also doesn't account for the choke factor which has been a recurring theme for Aussies at the Olympics (see Cate Campbell).

Well if we hit the overs getting zero individual golds in the pool its going to be an exciting fortnight!

I see he also has the Men's hockey in there so obviously has zero choke variable in his models

That trend isn't the investment - its the ramp up in the doping program that each nation does before each home games - I'd expect to see the UK gold tally to drop markedly this time around for example.

essentially drug testing is usually pretty s**t but because of COVID it's now VERY s**t because old mate in Tbilisi just got to complete a dozen cycles because of no out of competition testing

this video comes from a strictly lifting POV but I'm sure it's relevant to pretty much every sport

Awesome news. Who knows what the world or the Olympics will look like by then but at least half justifies Anna's visit to Japan right now in the middle of a pandemic. Clearly she had the heads up they were going to win
