So a young key forward marks better against kids and VFL defenders and this may develop with time, strength and confidence?Plenty of clunks at VFL level, isn't there? Having seen most of most of his VFL games live, it seems he does benefit from the smaller key defenders found at the lower level. He uses his natural size advantage like his under 18 days and attacks the ball better than at AFL level.
I've been saying this from day 1. It's lunacy to expect him to mark like he did against kids in the TAC Cup and against second rate defenders. But hey, it's more fun to be negative.
